Yes we just ended a long election but it seems that lots of people believe that Harris is very presidential and could probably see her becoming the first Woman for President.

But that depends how much she can do in these 4 years for America as a VP, lots of expectations coming up. Then you have AOC and she has that star power of an um coming politician just like Obama had.

So thinking about how it can go, it seems that it's possible.

Will never happen, because Kamala would never pick AOC for her Vice President.

I don't think AOC will ever win the presidency unfortunately. Way too divisive nationally right now.

You think a country where 71 million just voted for an overt white supremacist is ready to to vote for a dual woman/PoC ticket?

No. I really wonder if people have learned anything here. AOC is hated more than Hillary on the right. If you think for a second that a ticket with her on it could win a single battleground state, you are out of your mind. I like AOC a lot...but as a national candidate...it's gonna take a LONG time to convince even moderates that she's not a socialist antichrist.

Harris would never pick AOC in a million years, and the party would never push for AOC to be VP. The only way on a ticket for AOC is as the leading figure if she somehow is able to get past all the landmines down the line.

Brace yourself for the extremely mild and decent Kamala/Mayor Pete. DECENCY I SAY!

Mayor Pete has already declared victory

It's too soon for AOC. People wanted Stacey Abrams to be the VP pick, heck even me, cuz I preferred her over Kamala but as you can see from her work in Georgia, AOC can benefit more than being a president or VP so soon.

AOC should probably run for Governor of New York before looking to be on a presidential ticket.

I would personally LOVE that, as much as I bet 99% of Era would, but the only thing I can imagine is soundly losing to the R ticket with a two woman, minority pair. And that's not to mention the sOcIaLiSm. Threads like these are stark reminders how deep in a bubble we're in here.

White/moderate/independent America would further revolt. We're simply not ready yet. Let one more decade pass to kill off another set of boomers, and more of gen-Z to mature into consistent voting habits, then we've got a stew going. 2032 is our year.

Trump just increased his base to over 71Million. And Biden had problems in Florida for being a "socialist" BIDEN of all politicians.

No, I'm sorry I can't imagine that. I wish we had a better country where I could imagine that.

Harris will already have an uphill battle with sexism as Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren have in the past, which makes it even harder as a POC.

And sadly AOC is being vilified ala Nancy Pelosi by the Right.

AOC is great, but she's been made into such a boogeyman by the right (and sadly by a lot of her own party) that I don't think this is viable for the foreseeable future.

The right would legit be screaming that the seventh seal had been opened and world-ending apocalypse upon us.
