Oke people keep you expectation in check, this is a crossgen game. Looks smooth and need to see more gameplay to judge the visuals as a whole, but it does not have the wow factor. But ye youtube compression does not do it justice either.

It's so strange that Unity had way better faces and animation in general. This doesn't look bad, but not great either. Cinematography is much improved, but loads of just as big open-world games have way better faces and animation in every way, so there just isn't a justification for things to look this dated.

I seriously doubt it. This is running 60 frames and I doubt they have an uncapped mode in previous gen.

The video is 60fps, i'm pretty sure current gen versions are 30fps.

Of course new assassin games have worse facial animation, they are many times larger than unity for example with probably 10 times more dialogue. Nobody expects uncharted quality animation from games like horizon or witcher 3 and this is the same case.
