From the creators of Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons comes A Way Out, an exclusively co-op adventure where you play the role of one of two prisoners making their daring escape from prison. What begins as a thrilling breakout quickly turns into an unpredictable, emotional adventure unlike anything seen or played before. A Way Out is an experience that must be played with two players. Each player controls one of the main characters, Leo and Vincent, in a reluctant alliance to break out of prison and gain their freedom. Together, you'll explore notions of trust and consequence as your choices begin to catch up with you.

What is A Way Out? A Way Out is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective. It is specifically designed for split-screen cooperative multiplayer, which means that it must be played with another player through either local or online play.
Who are the Main Characters? Leo and Vincent both convicted criminals on a quest to break out and return to their lives on the outside.
How long is the game? Around six to eight hours.
Does my friend have to buy a copy to play with me? No, whoever you want to play you can share the game with through a "friends pass free trial."
Is the friends pass free trial unlimited? Yes, yes it is.
Will there be a Switch port? Maybe but at the moment Hazelight has nothing to confirm.
Is there a singleplayer? For those without a friend to play with, there is no and will be no single player mode. Reach out maybe there is someone here or on other online communities that wants to play with you.
Online or Local Co-op? Both!
Does it have matchmaking? No, if you are looking to play with someone else post here and say what your platform is, whether you have a headset, and where your are in the world. Reach out and see, there is likely going to be someone if you are patient.
Are there going to be any kind of microtransactions? Nope.
Is it any good? Opencritic score stands at 80 with the note of "Critics disagree more than usual". So it is likely good but there are some sticking points for some people. As people start getting opinions read as you will until you find yourself on one side of the fend or the other.
Will it appear on EA Access? No, Hazelight fully owns A Way Out. EA serves as the Publisher only to help with distribution and marketing.
I have more questions? Check out Josef Fares' AMA on Reddit or better still we have F8RGE in the thread who is a verafied member of Electronic Arts answering questions.
Should I mark my spoilers of the game? Yes, mark spoilers for the first two weeks and after that things will be a bit more lax.
