That's right. Next time you're at a party, work in this little piece of trivia and you. will. be. asked. to. leave.

....

Anyway, this is a Billy Zane in Titanic appreciation thread.

What an amazing run of films he was part of, from 84-97:

Streets of Fire
The Terminator
Weird Science
Commando
Aliens
Tombstone
True Lies
Apollo 13
Twister
Titanic

I forgot that was him in Titanic and it's one of my favorite flicks.

In my 6th grade yearbook everybody voted on like "Time Capsul" questions, and Twister won "Best Movie" for whatever year that was.

Independence Day came out like a month after school ended and it would have been that.

yall are deluded if you think that Twister is legitimately a better movie than Titanic. It's alright. Titanic is a fucking James Cameron movie.

What if the Titantic ran into an Iceberg and a tornado came out of the iceberg? That would've definitely improved the movie for younger me.

Twister is the only movie I ever associate with Bill Paxton. Sure he was in a lot but he was in Twister and was part of the attraction at Universal so who cares about those other movies

Why the fuck did I think that the movie was Tornado instead of Twister.

Did I get bamboozled into a Mandela Effect trap? Fuck I need a drink.

Titanic is a better movie, but twister popped into my head first so I voted that. Honestly forgot Paxton was in Titanic.

I don't think I've ever heard Titanic referred to as a disaster film before.

It's not wrong, I just usually see it grouped into drama or romance.

I loved Twister when I saw it as a kid and it still holds up today. Cheesy as hell but the cheese is fun and not super annoying to me. Loved seeing pre-famous Philip Seymour Hoffman stealing every scene he's in. Surprisingly the CG tornadoes hold up pretty well.

I wonder if anyone ever rented Titanic on VHS and accidentally only got the first tape and just assumed the movie ended right after the iceberg, before the sinking starts.

Never seen either to be honest (I know both huge films) but as a horror person I really like Paxton so I pick twister.

Jesus. That poll. lol.

Yeah, Twister is just a more fun and rewatchable movie, and is more a vehicle for Paxton being awesome.

I gotta be honest, my mind went solely to Titanic based on the clue but obviously Twister is more of an iconic role for him specifically. I just don't really ever think about it these days.

I hope that everyone is familiar with Paul F. Tompkins' version of Brock Lovett.. he's the best. This is time stamped to start at 2:38 but if it doesn't work, you could skip ahead to there.

I totally couldn't work out who Paxton was in Titanic I totally forgot the modern day scenes.

I also had to check if it was a trick question and it was actually Bill Pullman In Twister.

Thirdly I just now found out Bill Paxton was dead :(

Titanic is my all-time favorite movie but I think of Twister whenever I hear "Bill Paxton" or "90s disaster"
