I don't like this signing much. Why get a guy who's got to have the ball in his hands to be effective?

Putting in the work to develop them would actually mean giving them full minutes and working a few seasons on them knowing they'd get better later not grabbing a guy like Lebron who'll take away the ball 99% of the time and then surrounding him with a bunch of weird acquisitions that'll fuck team chemistry for just year.
Lebron is going to HELP young players like Lonzo and Ingram, not hurt them. If he can turn someone like Mo Williams into an all star, he'll turn Zo and Ingram into stars.

McGee, Rondo, LeBron, and Lance

So far LeBron the GM is doing about as good a job as he did in Cleveland. Luke Walton is probably like "fuck this".

Developing a team doesn't mean just drafting people and never ever bringing in free agents.

Who lasts longest as a Laker - Lonzo, IT, or Rondo?

Edit: Oh, IT is a FA, never mind :(

How the hell does picking up Rajon rondo make this lakers squad a superteam?

Do any of you have a damn clue what you are saying? Have you watched basketball since 2010?

That's a lot of ball handlers on one team, 2 of them who can't do anything when they don't have the ball. Should be a fun mess to watch.
Lonzo Ball / Rajon Rondo
Brandon Ingram / Kentavious Caldwell-Pope / Josh Hart
LeBron James / Lance Stephenson
Kyle Kuzma / Mo Wagner
Javale McGee / Ivica Zubac

You add Kawhi next year (or Boogie Cousins / Klay Thompson), and I like where we're headed. Plus literally all those new dudes come off the books next summer should they play terribly. Exciting times ahead!

Fam who spent all yesterday swearing Lebron wasn't bout to coast dunno what to say right now

Man just wanted another big check and to be close to home/family. Props to him for pulling it off, hope he enjoys the last contract

They renounced Randle's rights, too, so he's an unrestricted free agent now. It's been good, dude.

I can sense a huge get coming up.

I love what FO is doing. They want to contend right away.

Also Playoff Rondo is a top 10 player in the league.

I mean.. he was awesome for the Pelicans last year. They absolutely would have wanted him back. This is actually a huge blow losing him to be honest
I will admit he bounced back but there is obviously problems if he gets bounced around so much, there are always been rumors he is a pain in the locker room. I don't think he will ever get back to his prime days in Boston.
