Hello one and all to a new Highlight thread showcasing some of July's releases on the PC platform. The purpose of the thread is to shed light on various PC games releasing during the month and to spread awareness of them. Make sure to Wishlist the games so they'd also appear in your Steam Activity page for more of your friends to see!
If there are any other notable releases not listed below, please mention them along with an official statement or tweet from the developer or publisher to back it up.

Some of the titles shown below include expansions or DLC, as well as titles exiting or entering Early Access. They may also release on GOG.com as well, so check on there too upon that game's release. Furthermore, some titles might get delayed, but as mentioned previously, an intention of this thread is to spread awareness so make sure to wishlist them to get updates on them.

Furthermore, if you would like to discuss PC games, or have questions regarding PC gaming or Steam in general, consider Following the Monthly PC Gaming ERA thread.
In addition, feel free to join the Resetera SteamERA Group or list your Steam ID for others to add you.

In addition, let me know if there are any errors that slipped past me when making the list.

First, here's a quick look at some of June's releases that you might've missed out on.

Here are July's releases, starting with titles that don't have a Steam page

Great work as usual Tizoc! No day one purchases for me there, but I have a friend who wants me over to play some Mega Man X on launch. My focus is backlog cutting until Yakuza 0 on August 1.

Didn't know Pool Panic got a date yet, probably the only game I'm planning on getting right away if the word is good.

Will get Ys and Banner Saga a bit after launch I think.

Good month for me. Already bought Shining Resonance + day 1 for Megaman X, Groove Coaster, Celceta and Touhou.

July is backlog month for me. Gotta catch up on some stuff, but that Megaman collection is tempting.

Ys and Touhou for me. Gotta throw some money towards Xseed for their usually above-average PC port quality.
(Celceta is looking like the dev wants to one-up Durante, and Touhou for example has an extra Bullet Hell mode for more projectiles)

Phew, nothing I'm interested in. I hope I can finish at least one or two of the games I got during the Steam sale before August and Yakuza 0 roll in.

Meh-month for me. Playing Jurassic World and Sea of Thieves this month I think. And I still need to finish Frostpunk.

I think I might get Touhou and Not Tonight. A lot of interesting stuff but I already bought more than enough games during the summer sale.

This was supposed to be a backlog month with room for Crash Bandicoot and a few others, but it never ends. There's always something new worth playing. Wonderful.

Ys, Tempest 4000, the Mega Man collections and Galencia will suffice for me. Didn't know the last was being ported from C64, but that's what's great about threads like this. Thanks Tizoc.

Islands of Nyne comes to Early Access on July 12th

The best Battle Royale game you never heard about!

PUBG + CS:GO = ION

The game was kickstarted in 2015 before any of us ever heard of the BR genre. It has been in closed alpha for over a year is already way more polished than PUBG will ever be.

Don't sleep on this game because you think it's just another BR game...

If you think PUBG is the best BR game out there but it's too slow at times then you don't want to miss Islands of Nyne!

Wait what? A new Defiance? I thought the game died before the tv show did.

Nothing for me this month, my wallet thanks the steam gods.

Is there any chance you can start including PC VR games too? Feels like they get skipped in all these threads like it doesn't exist. Plenty of good releases coming out this month too.
I won't have time to list them here but maybe someone else from the pc vr community can help out here.

I'm not a VR person, but will gladly welcome any VR suggestions as they are the hardest for me to lock down :X I saw those 2 and added them.

Hyped about Banner Saga 3. Really enjoyed the writing and atmosphere of the first two games and the combat is pretty enjoyable too.

Oh hey, Soulsaga is actually coming out into EA! I remember backing it randomly 5 years ago and thought it would have died by now but dev persevered and it's coming at least into early access state. Game itself has an interesting early PS2 vibe so it should be interesting to see if it's actually promising.

Other then that going to grab Ys Celceta. Hopefully PC release will correct VIta's issues with image quality and frame rate.

Thanks Tizoc!
We are the only P'n'C releasing in July? Is... is that... good? Hope so :p
Anyway, I am getting really nervous (as always) with the release :)
Gotta get those reviews IN!

Hmm, that Gladius game looks pretty sweet. Also, I am intrigued by the Dust and Salt series.

Thankfully nothing I need on day one this month. Time to tackle my backlog which got even bigger thanks to the steam sale. Also, Octopath Traveler is going to take over my month.

Ys Celceta looks good. I'll definitely have to catch up on the Ys series.

Sounds like a good combo in theory. With the success of Fortnite this has to be F2P right? If so I'll give it a shot.
