honestly depends on what you're talking about. 80s fashion was so blocked in, formless, and modular. 90s fashions went in other directions and in the later decade really opened up.

You want boring go to the 80s. 90s tapped back into the 60s and 70s for inspirations.

Early 2000s were pretty fucking bad.

Selling those shirts should be a federal crime.
Just awful.

Ugh, I used to wear t-shirts fitted like that, especially later high school and most of college. I can't fathom what was going through my mind when I decided to wear XL shirts on my 5'8 165lb body. Of course, my switch to medium sized shirts also coincided with suddenly giving a shit about how I look and dress, so it kind of makes sense.

Was stuff like jnco jeans popular in Europe and such? Always sorta wondered how much fashion differed between countries before Internet became widely popular and in every household.

LOL Part of me just can't deal with this. I can't wrap my mind around the idea that people go out of their way to buy ripped/destroyed jeans.

It's a practicality issue for me - there's no way that shit is gonna last. Even with hand-washing, it will fall apart quick. And all it would take for you to instantly destroy those jeans is just snagging any of those million loose threads on a door closing.

Bongo Jeans in the 90s ruled. Hate the fact that they're referred to now as Mom Jeans, as that was a real, relevant sketch on SNL.

High- (or Normal-) waisted jeans do NOT equal Mom Jeans.

Let's see. Graduated in 97, typical outfit for me was Levi's, doc Martins, some sort of musical band t shirt. Early 90s when i was younger involved sneakers, Levi's, boring shirts.
When i was in 4th grade skulls were cool to me so i had skull print everything and converses.

Victorian-era was pretty bad with the rib-crushing corsets and flammable cage dresses

Not in the Netherlands. Back then we'd usually wear Levi's., straight, not skinny. I think skaters did use wider jeans.... but not as ridiculous as those Jnco's I saw in this thread. I thought they were photoshopped...but they actually looked like that.

Look, for a long time, some people thought pants MC Hammer wore were cool. Those people should be ashamed of themselves.

You know how I can tell most of you are a lot younger than I am? No one's posted much like these pictures. The 90s were nothing. Nothing. Feast your eyes on the eldritch fashion horror of the 1970s, kids.

Levis were super popular here as well back then. Did they even have skinny jeans back then? I don't remember anything like that. Only straight
