Last week's trolley slaughter was great. Hope this show has a clear path forward.

Need to resubscribe to all my TV threads from GAF. This is a good start.

Anyone create the TV cancel/renew / TV ratings threads yet? I haven't found them :-(

I like how the show still works when switching focus to other characters especially in what is pretty much a bottle episode

This show never lets me down. I enjoyed the focus on Janet this week. The reason she was glitching was expected, but it let them explore some fun stuff. I've always liked that this show has sort of the soul of a more serialized drama/genre show and the flashbacks to show how Janet became a part of this whole eexperiment felt like something from one of those shows. Michael growing to have friendly feelings towards Janet was a nice touch. And then of course they had plenty of funny stuff come from the issues Janet is experiencing and the flashbacks. The rest of the main cast made the best of their brief appearances too.

This was really endearing out of nowhere. I didn't expect Michael to have such feelings for Janet, even as he saw her rebooted 803 times.

Also, needles.

The restaurant titles on point as usual. Janet espousing the mediocrity of Frozen Yogurt then questioning why Michael would want stores of it got me good.

Yep, I knew she retained her love for Jason. El cuñado!
What a great episode.

I am excited to watch this episode. Janet is my favorite character in the show. Too bad my girlfriend does not ship her with Jason. :(

That was a great episode. They've been on a string of funny episodes.

I've just recently got into this, first season was the fun and the last episode of that season was amazing, what a great twist. Ted Danson is the best. The other characters are growing on me. Watched the start of the season 2 and it's excellent. Think I'm on episode 2 next or 3, the first was a longer episode.

Dam this episode was great. Wasn't expecting it to get heavy. What a miraculous job they've done with this season. I thought the magic was going to be over once they opened Pandora's Box with the season 1 twist.

Weird that rebooting gets the pleading protection routine but total shutdown does not.

I also want to know what possible way Chidi could have ended up covered in needles while maintaining plausible Good Place deniability.

Favorite bit was the Bad Janet cameo.

This is just about the only show on TV I make a point of watching as it comes out instead of bingeing at the end of the season. So good.

I think that's the point. Vicky clearly doesn't know that her tortures are obvious but because everyone is playing along, she thinks she's getting away with it.

That was fantastic. Was delighted all the way through, the flashback to stealing Janet, Michael and Janet getting real and being best friends, the brilliant / terrible advice from Eleanor, and then Jason Mantzoukas popping up as a great surprise at the end.

Really glad this second season is holding up when compared to the first.

I actually feel like they've managed to increase the quality compared to the first season. And that isn't to say first season wasn't good. Just that they took something good and managed to make it better in my opinion.

You are probably right, the way they have ridden the wave off of their audacious twist ending to season 1 has been really clever and satisfying. I was a little nervous about that coming into the second season, but I was very happy with the way it has played out, and now i am looking forward to see how they deal with the big stuff they have set up.

Also looking forward to more Derek next week! "what a dork, am I right?"

Constantly surprised by how the show is able to maintain this level of quality and keeping things fresh.

I know this has more to do with lazy writers/casting directors typecasting but I hate Jason Mantzoukas. He was fun at first on The League but every subsequent role he plays the exact same character. It's so jarring and obnoxious that it takes me out of the reality of the show.

Janet actually plucked Pimento from B99. He's on the rebound.

Great episode. I loved all the focus on Michael and Janet and their friendship, it's proof that Michael can change for the better and actually does.

Subbed! I binge watched this show last weekend. I love the 20 minutes format, it really suits the show.

Last epiaode was great, it was interesting to see how Michael stole Janet and how he really cares about her.

This weeks episode had me feeling some feels. Janet and Michael being friends was so sweet. Glad Michael's starting to realise how to be human even without the help of a classroom.

I almost spat my drink out when Janet's boyfriend turned around and it was Jason Mantzoukas. Love that guy, he's so good in Brooklyn 99 and How Did This Get Made.

My girlfriend couldn't get over how she is rebounding from Jason with Jason.
