This kind of thing has me more amped for Anthem, with the 'shared world' stuff they've been talking about. I'd love to see more games do this kind of thing in multiplayer, synced events across every player.

I almost missed it because some shit for brains asshole started shooting and killing players. Had to join another match and managed to catch the Lightshow afterwards.

This kind of event is amazing.

It can't be a dome; just compare how high the rocket went at the start to how high it was when the crack appeared.

Dammit, of course I missed this!

Looking forward to seeing what this leads to, but if it's just a few changes to the existing map I'm not sure it'll be enough to get me back into the game proper.

I don't know if that is possible, but it would be cool if part of the map would be in black and white. Would be fun and fitting with the whole detective thing.

I'd been out with my boys for a couple of hours, got home about five minutes before this was due to start. Logged in, picked 50v50, our bus started right over the launch site so I dropped down directly into the missile silo and saw the big red timer hit zero and the rocket launch from literally ten feet away. The entire silo was filled with smoke as I made my way up to the surface and watched the show with a great view from the top of the mountain with about 30 of my team. I have no idea what happened but it was great.

Wow, sucks that Huber missed almost the whole thing because he was running up a hill and had no view for most of it. Hope he watches the good replays elsewhere.

Edit: I'm an idiot. That was 7:30 Central EUROPEAN Time which meant 1:30am for me.......*sigh* lmao

Double Edit: I'm a stupid idiot. 10:30am PT means 12:30am CST for me. Why the hell was I looking at the CET time? Either way, definitely missed it haha, why can't I time zone properly?

I was able to catch the missile launch itself from the Snobby Shores houses but I didn't even know there was something making several jumps between portals like that.

Between the weird pod inside the meteor and these portals, I'm starting to wonder what kind of world Fortnite is set in.
