Dang, brickseek shows my Walmart having stock, but they are nowhere to be seen. Should I ask a clerk to see if they are in the back?
Brickseek shows 4 in stock as well for me but I'm hesitant to go up there and find out I was sniped like some of the other posters.
Mine were in a case with dark tempered glass that you couldn't see through. I asked and they unlocked it. So yes, it's always best to ask- what's there to lose?

Hell Yeah. Just went to my local Walmart and grabbed the two they had. Now I don't have to worry about breaking the bank for Mario Party and other MP games now.
If anyone is down, I'll trade you my unopen neon blue and red Joy cons for these pink and green ones. I'll pay for shipping and handling.

Yep, I asked and they were in a glass case in the very back behind all the other Joy-Con's. Don't really need another set of Joy-Con's, but at that price I figure they can either be a back up pair in case on of mine break, a nice gift for a friend at Christmas time, or I could sell them at some point and make my money back and then some. Definitely a no brainer if they are available at your local Walmart.

One store in LA had a single set left and they refused to put them on hold for me because they were the last set. In traffic it would have taken me over an hour and twenty minutes to get there ;___;
I managed to get the last two at my Walmart. Grabbed the other because I knew I had at least one friend who would want it (I'm not putting it on Ebay, don't worry).

I don't really understand people buying them to flip them. If you are just going to turn around and sell them for $60, I'll just buy them of Amazon for the same price just to spite you.

Flip them I'm sure. Not worth the hassle IMO. I doubt they're gonna make more then $100-150 for all that work.
Young worker came up and asked me if I needed help and I asked for a price check. He told me they were 70 and I asked if we could check at the register. When they rang up his eyes about popped out of his head and I let out a laugh. He couldn't believe it. I told him he better buy a set. When I walked away he turned to a coworker and started telling him your never gonna believe this and it made me laugh again. They had 3 total but I'll never need more than a second set and I'm not a reseller.
