Game is great. I'm Level 7 already. Only played 1v1 so far. Do you need to play 5v5 with friends? Seems so. Can't find an option for 10 strangers to play.

But on the whole the game is great fun!!

Also, don't forget that there's a detailed survey to fill out in the game. It redirects you to the Switch browser.

5v5 is totally accessible - just not Ranked mode at first

you can play with 4 randoms. after the game you and friend request people queue together. Also, You get bonus exp for queuing up with a party.

It's going to be a bit of a learning curve for some. I went with a support class, followed the assassin to lane and she left me. EVERY time i pick a support i get put ina solo lane. lol.

you guys should also check out the control section

turn off auto purchase, auto aim, etc.

make sure auto target is set to 'lowest hp total' not 'lowest hp percentage'

also note that you can click in your left stick to toggle if you are going to aim at the tower or enemy

Can't wait to try it out... this will be my first MOBA ever

it's a bit of a learning curve, but you'll get there

in the main menu, check out the heroes section and pick one like violet. see what each of her abilities does, then go into a game and putz around with the abilities. don't worry about purchasing items yet, just buy whatever they suggest for now.

Signed up since they opened but not had a key for either beta. Played a bit on mobile but stopped as soon as I found out it was coming to switch.

Looking forward to casually playing at some point in the future.

This game seems legit. if you've played LoL or dota before you'll feel right at home. I can see myself playing this a fair bit

Got a key and lefr hollow knight and Mario tennis Aces on the side all day (and probably gonna do the same during demo week)
This game is really good, i just still don't understand how the manual attack target is working

Does the game match you with AI after the brief tutorial or is most of the beta I've encountered not at all familiar with MOBAs?

I played this a little bit on Android when I heard it was coming to Switch, but it does feel more polished and like a console F2P game in the Switch version. I'd like the load times to be cleaned up a bit, but it's not too bad.

Controls work well, although the GUI/menu only shows the buttons/layout for the grip with the joycons in it instead of the pro controller.

Played a couple 5v5 matches and got MVP both times. Seems like folks in the Beta don't know the mechanics yet since I was repeatedly able to bait them into fighting me next to one of my team's towers, kill them, repeat, then get another upgrades to slowly push up the lane.

Edit: yeah AI/bots makes more sense, lol

Really enjoying it, it plays very well and it looks pretty great - the only thing I don't like is it's a little to zoomed in (surprised there's even an option for an even closer view).

I'd love them to do a "founders pack" at release, I'd buy it day 1.

Would love to add some friends to this! Name in game is Caliaztec! Just like with Paladins I'd like to play with a group and learn to work and play well together if this is mitigated solely to switch like they say can see this being fun in ranked with a full group of friends.

Let me know if any of you have luck logging in with your mobile account. I haven't been able to. It asked me to create a screen name

I remember they said in the past that there won't be any crossplay (at least initially) and you can't use your old account.. they also want mobile and the switch version to be on separate development branches to address patching and in-game balances.

I just got a code after thinking I missed my chance by doing the survey too late.
Very happy, I like this game on mobile even though I'm pretty bad at it.

He is level 12 so assume he passed the 3 fist games.
He specifically asked "Does the game match you with AI after the brief tutorial", which is what I was answering.
I just noticed as well, you're looking at his in game level, That's not his user level. Everyone starts at 1 and goes to 15 each game.

First time trying this game... I'm a LoL player and even if I appreciate the matches are shorter (max 20 mins), all the fights end with someone oneshotting someone else. I don't see the same depth of the Big Brother.

Than I can notice some issue on the Auto Attack. I don't get If I have to keep the A button pressed or if I have to press it again and again. Sometimes it just stop firing I don't know why.

On the FPS rate they have to improve the game a lot.

I just signed up, I hope they're still sending out codes.

I loved LoL, but hated the community and sitting in front of my PC after 8h of work. Hope this is good !

What if I signed up for it weeks ago and didn't get a code? Should I retry?

I really want to play this ):

Same, I play LoL every now and then and I really like the shorter match time. And this game isn't as deep as LoL. But I don't mind that.

For auto attacking hold A, you'll see a circle which will show your range. But this will only work if you don't move, use this only for AA those monsters/minions. If attacking other players, pressing repeatedly while moving is better.

On mobile, i almost only play 3 vs 3 because it's short games and more suited for mobile.

The Switch version is better i think for 5 vs 5 classic games.

It's not as good as Heroes Of The Storm, but it's still a very nice game. I love the simplistic approach comparatively to LoL

Thaks for the clarification... I think the AA mechanism should be fixed

I'm having a great time so far, and can say with confidence that I vastly prefer the new controls over mobile.

I do, however, wish that they would let us use the touch-screen to select specific items in the store to buy. It seems like you have to select an upgrade path, and then when you have enough gold it will auto-suggest one of two options and you have to pick one of those two, is that right?

Have y'all figured out a way to browse around and select any item you can afford at any point in time?

From what I can tell, you set up what you want to buy in a match from the main menu. I don't have my Switch in front of me, but it's the Armory option. It looked like you can set up multiple item sets there and just choose one when you choose your hero. I was planning to mess with it more this afternoon when I can play more.

I think there is an option to turn off the auto purchase? I believe it is on the character select screen? Look in the bottom right corner? There should be two boxes with check marks.

Played six matches last night and enjoying it so far. Getting used to using the right stick for aiming abilities but overall it's good. I've gotten MVP in 5/6 matches and only lost one game. I think maybe people are just really bad right now lol

Thanks, I know that you can pre-determine your item upgrade path beforehand, and I know that you can turn auto-purchase off, but as far as I can tell once you're in a match it still only allows you to select one of the individual item upgrade paths, and then decide between one of two items at any given time, as opposed to choosing literally any available item that you can currently afford with gold on-hand. The latter you can do in the mobile version, and I'm used to kind of tweaking my build on the fly that way, but on Switch I've yet to see how to do that.

Hmm yeah I don't know then, I'll have to try and mess around with it tonight.

I haven't gotten a chance to fire this up yet (I got a code), but I'm wondering, is this a team of players against AI? Or a team of players versus a team of players? I've watched a few videos on YouTube and it looks like it's both.

I didn't bring my switch to work, so I may not be completely sure. But i'm pretty sure the left directional button on the Left joycon brings up the store. to purchase as you see fit. Also, you can go to the armory (i think that's what it's called) and make your own store build path, if you want to keep auto buy on.

It's both, like i'm pretty sure the first 3 matches after the tutorial are Ai games, then you go into PVP. I haven't looked, but i would assume there is a versus AI. feature.

First 3 games are vs AI and then you can play against other players. I think there is an option to continue play vs AI for training if you would like though.

Left on the d-pad does indeed bring up the store and, while it *shows* all of the items, you cannot select individual items. Tapping them does nothing with the touchscreen, and you can only navigate up and down entire upgrade paths, not individual items (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

If it's anything like the mobile version, your first few matches will be against AI opponents as a way to kind of "round out" the tutorial, and then it moves to pure PvP.

Anyone who played the original Chinese version and this version give us a run down on how it compares? I played the Chinese version, but not this one yet.

I appreciated the ability to see this game in beta... it's actually a decent looking game for its play genre

Having said that, I don't think I enjoy its type of gameplay unfortunately

I'm really enjoying this! I scoffed at the idea of a mobile moba, but I'm surprised how much I'm having with this beta. I had a match go for 35 minutes which was unfortunate.

Is there a way to not auto attack creeps? My abilities usually target plplayers first, but if I hit A it targets creeps first.

Whoa just lost a few hours without noticing.

The control scheme is really nice, the chinese knock off characters are weird though, odd running around as bootleg Ciri for abit and seeing knockoff Illiden.

Surprised at how fun this is, hope they get the load times under control before launch.
