For three months it's definitely not a bomb lol. This means the game is edging on 8 million total, which would make it top three best selling game in the franchise.
Maybe the more sophisticated mod tools with the level and quest editor coming in Fall could give it a push too. Right now there are only simple model and weapon swap tools. Some examples so far, lmao:

What? No, i'm not one of themAre you one of those people who also thought SE meant they needed 10 million to break even with FFXV? The 2 million thing is a longterm goal on PC obviously.
Yep.That's what happens when you release a game almost 2 years later at full price
I argue that it is kind of worth pointing out because it's both less than when it originally released, and has a $20 season pass of content added to itYeah, and? The user I replied to said it wasn't full price on Steam, which is wrong. $50-60 is full price. Regardless of the Season Pass.
Not everyone knows the extra content and if it's worth it. Some just see the game on the store and the price tag and that's all that matters. Btw, other games like Witcher 3 also sell the base game without the Season Pass for cheaper. For newcomers who only now got interested in FFXV the only option is at full price, outside of sales obviously (as there is currently).I argue that it is kind of worth pointing out because it's both less than when it originally released, and has a $20 season pass of content added to it
Now, it wasn't going to sell gangbusters anyway after two years and mixed word of mouth.
Exactly, selling only "dlc edition" is honestly a bad move for a 2 years game. I doubt it's worth losing all the buyers that would have just wanted a base game sale. Like me, I would have bought the base game at launch if it wasnt a full price and i'm still debating if buying it at 50% sale, especially cause i know there's another season pass coming :/Not everyone knows the extra content and if it's worth it. On the plus side, Valve are going to make a more accurate SteamSpy.
Of course the downside is that it will no longer a neutral source
Valve has the data but there's zero chance they would reveal it to us. There's no way pubs would sign off on that. That is very good news, hope something materializes from this wothin the next year.
I hope the numbers are on a lower side because Vampyr definitely deserves more than 150K.
its was at 900k before shutdown, its been on slae and its been months since steamspy shutdown. i am pretty sure they are pretty accurate, it only makes sesnse with the game being on 50 percent off twice i believe now since then.I think the numbers aren't entirely accurate, Nier was at 9xxK before the shutdown, so its number here looks believable but still a bit overestimated imho

Will they port those games to ps4 or continue to ignore the PlayStation fan base

Presumably they don't need to use SteamSpy to check their own sales numbers...
Are you going to buy the new visual novel from xseedI don't think XSEED'll ever port anything to PlayStation platforms themselves, just to PC/Steam.
Not that I want them to check their sales, but I wanted to check their sales.
Jurassic World Evo doing half a million units in two weeks is... surprising?
For less than one month a release that doesn't seem too awful for a new IP. That's assuming it isn't particularly big budget.
Not really. It's a well done game in a popular franchise and in a genre that sells a lot on PC. It also stayed in the top 1/2 a looooot of time.
I think it's above that, actually. :P
500k sales would pay the development costs, according to Focus Home/Dontnod.
Oh cool

That's definitely a more than reasonable budget. It probably won't be there after a month but they will definitely hit that mark with console sales included.
No, those numbers are actually quite incredible for a port of an older game. It is also not exclusive to Steam on PC.
