Sort of. But at the same time people did vote in 2014. Democratic Senators got 20 million more votes than Republican ones, but Republicans held the Senate and blocked Garland. In 2016 more Americans voted for Hillary than Trump. More Americans voted for Democrats in the Senate than Republicans by about 6 million last time I checked.
Voting is good. We should do that. But it's incredibly lopsided.

Every single Democrat could scream this down until they are red in the face and there is still nothing they could do to stop Trump's nominee from getting through the Senate now. We lost this war back in 2017.

I have to say, delaying the vote as the minority given the options available would be a very gigantic nuke to use and I don't know how to handle the blowback when Republicans are in the minority. The senate may be completely unable to ever work again.
Maybe blocking the vote is the best option available, but hard to understate how significant that would be. I think planning on packing the courts later is our best option.

Huh? Civil disobedience works for breaking unjust laws, but the issues at play here are the dismantling of various protections and rights. You can't sit-in your way to a marriage license.
