Glad they allow Master's Mark drops now. I might get this LR Piccolo this weekend.

Also idk if this is accurate but someone calculated how many stones we could be getting for the anniversary.

(Image Clip for the benefit of others)

All I know is that if I get that LR Gogeta I'm completely fine. Anything extra is a plus. That's the last item on my fusion team. I'll replace STR Base Gotenks with him.

That's more than I expected honestly. I'm gonna have like 1500+stones when all is said and done. Good to know I'm for sure getting my Gogeta. The question then becomes how much I want to throw at Vegeto and how many I want to start hoarding for Future.

Yeah I'd be surprised if you didn't get that Gogeta with that amount of stones lmao. I'm wondering if I need to go for the Vegetto as well but idk, we'll see. Hope it ends up well.

Yeah I think the math should be working in my favor here ahaha. Fusion banner is an easy no brainer for me. I'm pulling for LR Gogeta and SS4. I can purple stone Int Gogeta if I have to but obviously freeing up one of those to be used on maybe an SS4 goku or something would be ideal. Combine that with the 2 dupe SS3 gotenks and the Kefla I have and that's a kickass fusion team that can basically take on anything.

The potara banner is a bit more complicated for my account. On the one hand, it's an incredible category and I think Vegito is way cooler in general. On the other it's missing a lot of key Potara units like Teq SSGSS Vegito, LR Zamasu and STR Rose whereas Fusion is basically feature complete on banner. I'm also sitting on a Kefla so my need for LR Vegito is inherently lower. The major saving graces for it are PHY Super Vegeto and SSGS Vegito being great pickup options to run on my fusion squad as well.

That being said this thinking is all worthless because who the hell even knows how many stones I'll have the option to throw out so really it comes down to playing by ear once the banners drop.

Made it to just over 20 million on 27 wins. That'll be good enough for now. Was good for restocking orbs and a few Kais. Also net positive on stones is good stuff. Think I ended up up 20 stones.

41.81mill points with 47.5 wins. Had enough STA to do pre-lims and quarters but not enough for the semi and finals, and I didn't wanna use another DS for it :p.

Rhymestyle had to drop like 3k stones to get ONE of the featured LRs. Do not set yourself up for disappointment. There's no guarantee you'll get anything.

I saw that mentioned on Reddit but then I saw someone say it was more like 1,400. Which, sure you could get to 3k without getting any LR on the banner but the odds of that happening are basically like the odds of getting 3 in one multi. Sure things super low odds do happen, but even getting to 1k without one is rare.

That was before GSSR summons for multis. So the chances are up... But still don't be surprised if you don't get it.

No they're not. The chance of pulling a featured card on that last slot is the same as it always was - 5%. The odds of pulling featured units has not changed at all because of GSSR. Which is why it's a deviously smart move by Akatsuki.

Someone actually calculated the odds for pulling LR Gogeta and LR Vegetto.

I guess I didn't use the correct words.

The rate of getting any of the LRs is gonna be 5% like you said, no matter what as a featured unit.

The chance to pull them has increased though.

Before GSSR, if you multied 10 times with 500 stones. There is a chance of the LR being in one of those pulls or there is a chance that some of the pulls were SRs and Rs only multipulls.

Now with GSSR, you have a chance for one of your theoretical 10 multis to be one of the LRs. If you dont get the LR, you will still get an SSR for sure.

GSSR doesnt increase rates but it does increase chances to pull SSRs, most likely dupes

I have no idea what you are saying.

Anyway the GSSR feature only increases the rates of getting unfeatured cards, not of getting featured cards. And the only LRs on the anniversary banners are the featured LRs. So the odds of pulling them are 100% unchanged, GSSR or no.

Right. The only thing it changes are unfeatuered SSRs which isn't nothing. There are great unfeatured SSRs. Doesn't change anything on banner though.

Finally the gods event is back, I want to try to farm Whis cards to open paths to the AGL one and the SA up both the AGL and the INT one.
I know they are support units, but that feels to have the SA10... :)

Also finally can get the last medals to dokkan my PHY SSJ Goku SA10 into the God one and then dokkan it again! (the card don't look so nice after all... but I will take it!)

EDIT:
Looks like Whis card is in the Extermination event... my bad... :P

Yeah, but the event does give medals to awaken the TEQ Whis card, which is a pretty good SBR card. I'd make sure to get 12 of those Whis medals if I were you just in case you get it, because they almost never show up in the Baba shop.

Looks like we're getting Boss Rush stage 4 & 5 on July 6. That's also likely when 3rd Anniversary starts?

I'd be able to do Teq SBR if this game would just give me a Ssj4 Gogeta

If it's any consolation the extermination event returns every weekend. So you can do that then :p

Yes I don't have the TEQ one, maybe I should gather the medals for the future...

Finally new boss rush!
I want to try my Potara/Fusion/Realms of Gods teams with something hard enough! :D

Wow, so LR Vegito and Gogeta area already returning on JPN. Featured again and on a banner with FP SSJ4 Goku. Kind makes the 3rd anniversary banner not as hot, may just save for SSB Vegeta.

Also it's very obvious that they're really trying to push LR's as the new "normal", if that wasn't obvious already.

When we first got info on the 3rd anniversary cards I thought this but there haven't been any LRs like them since. Everything else have been TURs with transformations

dunno about "already". it's been like half a year almost. I do wonder what the meta is going to do though. I wasn't a huge fan of constant power creep but I think I like constant side-grades even less. Category meta has gotten pretty stale now that several categories are just variations involving fusions.

Looks like the data for the Full Power Category is out

https://jpn.dbz.space/cards/categories/20

No fusions or potara at all so it's as different from those categories as it can be I guess. Big features are LR Boujack, SSJ3 Goku, Gohan, Broly and EZA cell I guess. Only really great card I have for it is SSBE Vegeta so it's an easy pass on my JP account.

EDIT:

I lied, Kefla is on it so there's one Potara.

Yo, LR Metal Cooler army looks dope. And it's apparently F2P and a mirror of LR VB with its leader skills for Extreme instead.

From reddit:

The Overwhelming Metal Army

Metal Coora Army

Leader Skill: Extreme Types Ki +3 and HP, ATK, DEF +70%

Super Attack:

12 Ki: Deals colossal damage, greatly reduces DEF

18 Ki Super: Deals mega-colossal damage, raises Extreme Type allies ATK by 30% for one turn

Passive Skill: An Army of Nightmares - ATK & DEF boost by up to 90%(the more HP remaining, the greater the ATK & DEF boost), high chance to launch up to 2 additional attacks, which have a rare chance to become a Super Attack

Link Set: Big Bad Bosses, Shocking Speed, Strongest Clan in Space, Auto Regeneration, Nightmare, Fear and Faith, Legendary Power

I'm hyped for that SSJ4 Goku and the category. LR Gohan on a 150% category, yes please. It's reasonably flexible without being just all the fusions again like half of the categories are. And running SSJ4 Goku next to FP SSJ4 Goku on Shadow Dragons or whatever will be cool.

Also his SA is incredible.

With Pokemon Quest out now, depending on how this 3rd Anni goes for me, I may finally drop this game. 3 mobile games is just too much, and Legends is occupying nearly all of my former Dokkan time now. It's cool that they're finally starting to make some pretty true improvements on the JPN side, but it's too little too late. Rhymestyle was right. These types of changes should have came around the 3rd Anniversary, rather than them hastily finally doing the things people have been asking for years for just to keep up with the competition.

It's really hard to do considering the money I've put into the game which is honestly the main reason I'm still in now, but it's gotta happen sometime. I'm barely playing it. I even finally broke my 600 day consecutive login the other day because I just didn't think to turn it on.

But we shall see.

I'm so hyped for the 3rd anniversary. This down time has been nice as other games took up my time, I've basically just been logging in, getting the 3 quests for a stone and stopping. But Ginyu Force and other big events coming have me ready to play again

I support anyone dropping Dokkan, but why switch to Legends when it's already grindier than Dokkan is now? honest question. I gave up once I realized how much awful grinding it takes just to max out 1 character. I mean I also don't like the game because the AI is infuriatingly cheap, but the grinding is a turn-off for sure. That coupled with the fact that it's the same cycle of starting with characters no one gives a shit about before building up to hype units (although Broly so early was a nice change of pace), and I consider myself lucky that I dropped it before I got too invested in it.

I don't find the grind too bad at all. They've been really good about giving out resources for raising character levels. I've got like well over 10 characters over 1,000 so it hasn't been too bad. Can usually get a fresh character to 1,000 in about 3 days or so. Also in Dokkan, I always prefer to let character level up naturally rather than instantly training them to level 120 unless they're fodder, so I dig the natural leveling in Legends a lot.

The content for Legends has been really intense lately. They've been super generous about giving out a ton of stuff and having something to do all the time. And plus I dig the PvP on top of that. It feels a lot more like an actual game to me, where as Dokkan now is just feeling like a place I go to to look at nice art. Basically I'm just having a lot more fun with it.

fair enough. it was, ironically, the exact opposite for me. I didn't like playing Legends at all, the only thing I like is the special attack animations and such, and I don't even like the art style of the cards that much. Not that dokkan is very exciting outside of the odd challenging event here and there - it's pretty bad tbh. but it's low impact enough that simply keeping up with it is very easy and doesn't take much time. Which admittedly isn't a great argument in its favor so much as damning with faint praise, but sunk cost fallacy etc.

Legends is dope but it's easier for me to knock some stuff outta Dokkan than it is Legends. I log in, do my dailys, do some training, do some adventures if they're there and that's it for me. With Dokkan I'm usually seeing if I can get some random stones, doing events to awaken some characters, just overall I'm doing more. I'm also liking Dokkan's style more because I don't have to pay attention much when playing it, I can listen to a podcast or eat or watch a video, just nothing really. With Legends I'm paying more attention and honestly I don't like that.

Both great games that serve different purposes and I enjoy them both. I'm just spending less time on Legends right now.

Anniversary starting off disappointing as fuck. Daily login is one anniversary summon ticket instead of multiple like it was in JP. Why? Because the Pilaf's Trove is selling them in packs of 3 for ten dollars. The tickets do eventually count up (the login bonuses for the 3rd, 4th and 5th of July produce several tickets per login), but it seems like we're getting drip-fed tickets for this anniversary otherwise, unless we're willing to spend cash. There don't even appear to be daily missions to get more.

I think we should all steel ourselves for extremely weak Dragon Stone rewards compared to the JP anniversary.

According to this comment we're already getting more tickets than JP did from logins https://www.reddit.com/r/DBZDokkanBattle/comments/8uxw1d/global_countdown_information_day_1/e1j0qj7/

Up to you. Doesn't change the rates going for mulits or singles on this banner (and there's no GSSR here sinces multies are 5 at a time).
Yeah but I think I recall some previous tickets being timed, guess this isn't a case here.
By the way my friend pulled fucking LR Trunks from first ticket, fuck him.

I'm really glad I hate Legends because that means there's no chance of me ever falling down that rabbit hole. At the same time i'm secretely hoping it kills Dokkan (which I don't know if i even just like anymore) so I can finally be released from this chain.
