They seem like a small team. Even the app is relatively low rent looking (Java??). Mind you, you
can communicate with the lock via the app (which btw it is universal for all the different V3 versions, from Homekit to zigbee etc) but in the Homekit version it just taps into Homekit communication, which is a layer of abstraction on top of regular bluetooth (or other) - and that's why you can't share access. But yeah it is confusing, I had no idea about not being able to create guest users etc when I bought it, so when it was not working out for me I sent an email to the support team and got the confirmation. I still powered through because of the upcoming keypad but as it stands I got crushing news about it this morning...
Welp, time to return it :(
Pretty sad because the lock itself is well made and works well and it is nice looking. But the Homekit version is simply underwhelming in functionality. And I don't want a smartlock without Homekit support either, so it's back to square one.
