I played it on an OLED. It may be a little be dark at times but it is still an improvement compared to the Non-HDR output. I don't share the opinion with the member you responded to. The game aged very well on consoles given the patches it got especially on the Xbox One X. I clocked around 400 hrs with the game (original release and GOTY edition) ...
I just got a LG 27UK650 monitor earlier this week, and I found the HDR really neat for Witcher 3 on the X!

Nah, it's just bad HDR standards on both games and screens. Games like AC Origins has separate sliders to get those HDR settings just right as looking good for your screen. I hope HDR gets more focus on looking good and with options in the future and not just a on/off switch.
Yeah so far my biggest frustration with HDR is devs not implementing a separate brightness slider.
This has kept me on the fence concerning getting a one x. The UI is one of the reasons I never use my xbox one to begin with.
Hum, I have this setting enabled since the start, my external HDD turns off when I put the console to sleep, and I can ear it turn on when it downloads updates or games I remotely add to the queue.
It's already been tested in two flights as far as I know, so I'm thinking end of Summer - Early Fall for release sounds about right.

Not surprising as the dash is still 1080p on the Xbox One X. This is the reason why they were able to give additional 1GB to the developers for their games.
One is the Xbox One Edition and the other is "Better Together" version, or Bedrock Edition.
Take a screenshot through your Xbox One when it happens, then look at the picture on another display. This will tell you right away if it's your TV or the Xbox.
Good point. It shows up when using the record feature, but I honestly don't know about pictures. I would like to think so, but that's an assumption on my part.
