Alice is a great Hero indeed. Going for the less used Heroes means that people don't know how to counter and puts you in a big advantage. Its like when I would use Lumburr these past few days, only really skilled Vallhein users could do any real damage. I mean, Tanks could withstand me, but early game mages and marksmen go down like flies, and late game just helping out with supports is more than enough. Thane is another good example people don't take seriously. I have gone against many a Thane, and thought he sucked. But that Shield Push is ridiculous, nobody expects me when I circle behind and push them into the Field of Range of my tower for maximum damage.

I feel like that's exactly what's happening. I will enjoy it while it lasts but it seems her win rate percentage is high rn. So I fear people will figure it out soon (if they havent already).

It is indeed. I see a lot of Veera for example, but because its low level players not using her skills right, people are not used to being one shotted. Stun/Bat/Ulti is the combo people should be using, but since a lot waste the ulti first, I have been blindsiding a lot of people. Both in my new account and the one I was using up to today. In general I have been avoiding Arthur/Vallhein/The Viking Dude and no one knows how to handle my hero choices. I think having even moderate experience in LoL like myself shuts down a majority of the userbase.

Holy shit. You guys did the trial of that new character yet? You can only go to practice mode right now, but he looks like he might be a problem when he fully releases on the 16th.

This game runs so good on my s9+. Still the best mobile game. Starting to get back into this again now.

I continue to be a GOD with Queen Alice.

How bout me having a 62.5% win rate with alice in solo queue -- beating out the server average of ~55%
Let's talk about the yellow balls of pure stunnage dropping on my enemies' heads. I never miss stuns.
Let's talk about how my ultimate seemingly never leaves the field because of my outrageous cooldown management skills.

When people see her on the field, they literally start screaming, shitting, and pissing on themselves while running away from her. She's that dangerous.

My most anticipated MOBA, Onmyoji Arena which is Netease's MOBA based on Onmyoji, is currently having a closed beta in Asian regions until April 3. I'm in the Philippines and there is an English language option. Now is a great opportunity to try out the game.

Vex yeah alice still has the highest win rate in the game, around 55%, which is a good spot, about as high as it can be wihtout devs thinking to nerf.

god i love joker. the windup on his 1 is bla, but his passive, ult and 2 are too much fun

this is the april fools one

that is a strange thing to have in there though

I've searched the AoV reddit for this and, apparently, in Honor of Kings (the original chinese release of AoV) they have SNK licensed characters, Iori and Mai. Mai became Raz in the global release. Don't know what became of Iori.

imo, No. Tons of competition. Just not a lot of talk. Most players don't speak the same language in games I play. No actual community site to share strats. Maybe the AoV Reddit is a nice place. But even there it is hard to know what build they are playing with since they mention characters NA server doesn't have. Hard to join the discussion.

So it is a fragmented player base, but the population appears to be healthy I think.

yeah i was joshing a little, just this forum slowed down a lot. curious if the esports tournament will drum up any interest

prob not. I don't really care to watch Moba esports. Heck, I don't even like it when I die and have to watch the map for a few seconds. I get bored.

you aren't vex190 on yt are you?
Ya know what? So many people ask me that in game. Typically at least once a session. But from my research, he is from EU. I am not him since we don't share servers. Afaik Anyways. People keep calling me a "fake" in game and then I get mvp... then the friend requests keep pouring in. It's insane.

Whoever he is, I will probably destroy him 1v1 >:D

Taara is too fuckin good. I decided I was sick of being in elo hell and have started autolocking her and decimating the competition.

I used to only play Ormarr but now I'm having too much fun playing Zuka. Zuka really hurts squishies when he gets his gear.

I still play this game daily. Probably the longest I have ever played a mobile game consistently. I hope the switch version revitalizes some interest here.

Anyone try that paladins moba

Tried it out a bit then uninstalled it. Maybe it's just me but I found the game pretty slow. For me, AoV just plays better and is more polished.

I even tried the Onmyoji Arena beta (game is officially out now by the way so you guys might want to try it out). Although I love onmyoji's setting and characters more, I found AoV still Superior and more polished. I'm thinking this is because of riot games which tencent owns. I'll be giving Onmyoji a try again with the official release. Hopefully, it changes my opinion on the game.

I haven't yet, but I hope to soon. I signed up as soon as I was able, and I've worked with Tencent on some Arena of Valor stories, so PR assured me I'd get my hands on the Switch beta. It doesn't sound like it will be that exclusive, I'd just keep your eyes and ears open. I'm thinking that if you signed up in a timely manner, there's a good chance you'll get in no problem.

Hey this game even has an OT.

I really enjoy the beta, sad to see that not a lot of people on this forum are playing it. At least not a lot of people are talking about it

I have found that ERA is generally averse to admitting that mobile games can be great and competitive games, which is why this has largely flown under the radar. Many of us have been talking about it for a while, though, and honestly I think it plays even better on Switch. I think people will come around once it actually launches. It's a fantastic game, and Tencent has already shown ample support for it on mobile.
There is no way to get guaranteed into the Switch Beta right?
It is ongoing, and concluding soon, so no. They'll probably do another one, though, or else announce a launch date in the near future. They already had a major beta phase in Europe.
