Totally worth listening to those same five notes looped over and over about 500 times (roughly 25 loops per-minute, for near 20 minutes).
And if I may, 626 = "Stitch" from Disney's "Lilo and Stitch". A movie set on the tropical island of Hawaii (similar to the tropical island of Isla Nublar in the Jurassic Park movies). RLM is clearly slipping hidden meanings into things, and they know much more about cartoons than they're letting on.
Needs a frame of reference. How disappointing was it?

I do find the gag videos a bit annoying at this point but I'm glad an actual review is apparently coming tomorrow, because hoo boy, this movie was a real piece of shit.

Do they get anything if you have Youtube Premium and subscribe? I assume a tiny amount goes to channels since the ads are removed from them.
IIRC, last time RLM had some bait-and-switch fun (which would've been the string of Transformers bait-and-switch videos), someone accused RLM of doing it for the cheap hits and easy money, but someone else said that Youtube tracks how long people watch the video, and making large numbers of people quit early damages RLM's monetization rate with Youtube, which costs them money on future videos. Some no-name channel can scam some easy money with bait-and-switch tactics, because they have nothing to lose, but RLM is putting their valuable reputation on the line.
And RLM probably knew that bait-and-switch costs them money, because Transformers wasn't their first (or last) bait-and-switch joke.
I don't even know what a GOOD modern Jurassic movie would look like.

I think it's less that it's a product of its era and more that its a franchise with only one good story in it. There's zero room for sequels.
The only good sequel in the franchise is the book sequel.
I thought the same thing about Blade Runner, but that sequel proved me wrong. Probably would've thought the same about Alien. It's just that big dinosaurs are very fun for kids, so they got to factor in that market when thinking of where to go with the story.
The entire appeal is seeing something that actually existed. If theyre just making reptile monsters they might as well engineer something cooler than a bigger T-Rex like a Dragon or something.
You know how everyone used to be afraid that RE7 was gonna be some lame Amnesia clone, and the boss fights/combat would be rare, heavily scripted, and easy? That's what they went in expecting, and never gave it a chance. It was awful to watch. I skipped around the first two hours of them shitting on it before giving up. I don't even think they continued after the garage fight with Jack.
I feel like Jay came in ready to just dog on it the whole time and then couldn't tell if Mike was fucking with him or not. I still think it was an elaborate troll. Weirdest episode yet lol.

Thank you big time, I can feel my blood pressure just reading this post lol. I love these guys but boy are they bad at reviews. It's a shame too, because they're honest and don't pull any punches. They're just so firmly up their own asses smetimes.
I'd expect a bait and switch review for Deadpool 2 rather than Jurassic World given how they both thought the original Deadpool was just kinda okay and Jay wasn't sure he'd be able to tolerate more of the same (especially since 2 is basically 1 but on steroids and with more "look at my pop culture references").
