Go home and be a family man.

It's amazing how much these characters suck despite the amount of screentime devote to their dramas. Even Kokoro and Mitsuru, who are the only two characters who sorta received some "development" completely regressed due to the mind-wipe.

So Boku no Hero is getting a female centric spinoff series. And we all know what that means...YURI. Everytime they do a female centric spinoff series it turns into a yuri show.

damnit on two hands i support boku no hero spinoffs and yuri, but on the other hand, i'm not 100% that's what this should turn into

also the soul eater spinoff that was 100% female focused was GARBAGE. I know that's not strictly related but it haunts my mind. Even though it had weirdly great cuts of animation in those first few eps

Hinamatsuri 10,11,12

Yes the best Hitomi chapter made it into the anime, i didn't want to reread while the anime was ongoing, super glad it got there

Man I'm so glad this adaption was good. It absolutely got why Hinamatsuri was such an awkward but amazing hit. It's right on the tier of cringe for me where I'm not 100% sure if can take it or not but it always sidetracks into something hilarious.

Great adaption, gonna go reread the manga.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE

THIS IS NOT YOUR SHOW

GO HOME YOU'RE DRUNK

…Ahem. That last-minute shocker aside, this was a fun episode packed full of Emiru/Lulu goodness. They're just too perfect. Love them both forever.

Inbefore Hugtan is secretly a baby Shiny Luminous. That would be the greatest troll ever.

Wotakoi: Love is hard for Otaku

By far the best show of the season among the ones i watched. So many episodes felt very relateable and the characters felt and acted in reasonable and realistic ways. It's so great to see a romcom during the actual romance isntead of the lead up and with reasonable characters to boot. Highly reccomend it to anyone, 8/10

Franxx whatever-22

This show has possible the worst fucking pacing i've ever seen. It's absolutely abysmal. The plot meanders through dozens of episodes, it goes nowhere, all of a sudden space, stuff makes no fucking sense whatsoever. Everyone acts at their worse all the time, especially Hiro that is the most self absorbed MC i've ever seen, which could be really interesting if pulled right, but it's franxx so it's the usual trash. That Goro verbal beatdown was the best scene since that childhood flashback episode and he was completely right, yet the entire cast just ignores it and follows into space cause MC powers or some shit. This series had so much potential coming from the first 6 episodes where it painted a fairly decent arc with a lot of room to grow instead it just felt down so hard it devolved into mindless allegories to way way way better shows like evangelion or TTGL to the point it's insulting.
One of the worst show's i've followed to the end, and the only reason i didn't drop it at episode 20 was because at that point i need to see the trainwreck to the end. Aweful vile stuff.

The episode featured Suki Suki Sensor so it is automatically wonderful. (It may have also featured another song, or two, or three, but that's beside the point.)

And Miracle Kiratts are basing their performance in the big final on Emo's cheerleading routine, huh? Not even trying to hide who the real star is.

Franxx 22 is an allegory of you (represented by Mitsuru) having your first child and having to stay home to take care of the baby while all your friends go out to party (represented by the rest of the pilots going to battle VIRM in space). :P

megalobox has been fantastic. And there's one episode to go right? It's nice when I find a show i can easily recommend to more general anime friends.

A relatively strong ending considering the series was on a decline for the second half or so. I'm actually impressed the final confrontation ended up being much like the earlier conflicts, mostly one of a psychological nature as the characters involved debate their philosophies on Mobius and the nature of happiness. The ending is a little corny, but at least it doesn't dwell on those elements too long and gives some closure to everyone's stories (even if the way we learned about them was the low point of the show for sure). It's a shame the show couldn't keep a consistently interesting narrative throughout, but for a show that started well to end just as well is about as good an outcome as I could've hoped considering the episodes preceding it. Not a terrible show by any means, but not one that quite lived up to my high expectations after those excellent opening episodes. Still, might be worth a watch if you're a Persona fan looking for something a little different.

Libra of Nil Admirari Epiosde 12 END

Darn I wanted us to get a Tsubameno san ending route, he was the best boy.

Yuki Kaji boy as the final one was meh.

Also love the writing aspects of this show, "Even if there is only one person in the world who will read it, that will make me happy" and "Im so dark and emotional that I have to write and then it makes me feel better, but soon I feel bad and have to write again". Also the "Good writing should be dark and messy"."

Good show. Hiro Shimono ED was awesome,

uka is the best thing ever. Girl know how to have fun for sure!

Hinamatsuri and maomatsuri
Great adaptation, but we definitely need more Hitomi focused chapter adaptation. We still haven't see her become the most badass bartender of all time.

The kung fu scene is so good they decide to use it again for the final.

Yeah it has been spot on so far. It is between this and Devilman for the AOTY for me.
I'm pretty sure you and I were the only people left in the world watching this.
I watched it as well and I am still wondering what the hell I just watched.

How did we go from the awesome Shin Cutie Honey to whatever this is? That show was so fun and the Devilman episode was just crazy (especially dubbed).

The biggest issue I had was Honey herself. In the original/Shin/OVA she chopped heads with little ease but in this one she keeps getting wounded and is just weak as hell. I also feel like they added too much pervy stuff which made the kid and the father so god damn annoying and bad(maybe it is that way in the manga but I am not sure because I never read it) I mean they were already bad in the original (70s) but atleast Honey herself could avoid them with ease.

Hopefully they never adapt this IP if they are going to give us this thing because it was just painful watching it.

Food Wars s3 Episode 24 END

Wow they didnt really need to make this whole part of the match last the entire episode! Though in the manga I sometimes did skim some of these explanation part.

Welp as expected no s4 announcement. Food Wars get to join the prestigious list of shonen jump manga that didnt get 4th seasons of their adaptations.

Oh well, SoTaku got an awesome final scene.

I forgot, is Emiru or Hana the main character? Hopefully it's the former, cause she's still amazing. Somehow her safety shtick hasn't gotten old yet. And her paranoia is kind of justified right now. With the bad guys it was hinted at before, but now it's basically confirmed that computer guy is pulling the strings. I see several directions for whoever the real villain is. Interesting senpai theme this episode. Emiru is trying to live up her hers while Gelos is mocking hers for Pupple's failures. Plus more human robot trying to figure out how to call out Emiru for acting dumb. Wait, why did the guitar stay broken? This stuff is supposed to fix itself. I call hax. Anyway, another heartwarming Emiru/Lulu episode, but we've gotten a bunch of them back to back, so I'd like something else soon...

What the hell! Hugtan was supposed to will the Melody Swords into existence because baby BS, not call them of all people. I know they're heavily featured in the next movie, but I absolutely did not see those two coming right here. That's certainly a cliffhanger that's going to be remembered.

So I was complaining about the One Piece encode quality on Crunchyroll, right?

Clicked the season drop-down today...

Caligula 12 END
Well that ending was good and made up for some of the previous episodes, especially with the small stories at the end. I'll be honest, them confronting and dealing with their real world issues was probably the best thing in the entire episode. I'm also a sucker for the music being heavily tied to the actions and reasons of the characters. It's a bit uneven overall, but still worth it in the end.
Weren't those versions just cropped rebroadcasts?
At a quick glance, it definitely is cropped even if it does look clearer overall.

Widescreen indeed, bit of a shame, but this is the original:

Versus the HD:

I can deal with the cropping tbh, imagine that artifacted mess of the original stretched to 4K on a 55" screen. It is really bad, trust me.

MHA S3 ep.12
Holy shit Deku's mom. I feel you. That whole scene was great from start to finish. The emotionsl payoff was earned and worth it.

Hinamatsuri- END
So, when does the spin-off anime start starring Mao? Hina was a pain until the end..

Grancrest - END
I was expecting something much different of an ending, but I was pleasantly surprised with the way they finished this series off. It was a pretty enjoyable ride ubtil the very end.

Soma S3 ep.12
Wait, did tgey end the show there? AGAIN?
Will there be another season to finish off this arc, or is that it?

If they wanted to do they could do like Haikyuu!! and just do enough episodes to close out the arc [haikyuu!! 10 episode 3rd season to finish adapting the tournament]

S2 of FoodWars was just 13 episodes as well, so they dont have to do a 24split cour thing again.
to be fair there wasn't a new anime series announced after season 1 or 2 either.

I will have to at some point see where the anime left off, I didn't watch much of season 3 since it was a garbage arc in general. I figured they would end around when the next tournament started but it sounds like they might have gone a bit into that?

Either way give it like a year :P

The anime's current arc finished a few chapters ago in the manga, I imagine they'll do another season relatively soon, but production needs time. I could see them possibly choosing not to go beyond that point though since the end of the azami arc is a good stopping point if you don't want to consider going through to the end of the manga

I'm in the middle of catching up with One Piece's current anime arc, and while it's been good to great, 808 really brought the waterworks. So far this has been a far better watch than any time I attempted to push through and drop some of other recent arcs. I'd say this has been a great adaptation considering it's endless weekly format.

one piece anime has been better recently but theyre catching up fast.

theyre way past the point where filler makes any sense (after this arc with big mom it becomes even more ridiculous that some random dude would be an issue for more then 20 seconds for luffy)

Don't worry, the next arc will give them oodles of flashback material. I half expect most episodes to be half hour recaps of previous arcs.

Stein's Gate 0: 8-10
There are a lot of great, dramatic scenes, too bad that so much of the seriousness of the situation is ruined by really juvinile writing that is way worse than the original Stein's Gate. Basically, it faces the same problem as the VN.
