Just for some perspective, the last 57 chapters of the manga have only covered less than 9 chapters of the webcomic lol.

Before this arc, the manga was nearly 1:1 with the webcomic. Sometimes even covering 2-3 webcomic chapters per manga chapter.

Chapter 93

KING
IS
HERE!

It was good and long chapter of world building. Murata is a beast. I love how King shut everyone down... What a hero lol.

I mean, the basic premise certainly doesn't lend itself to a long-running series but to turn it into the very thing it made fun of is quite an achievement. Does ONE's webcomic become such a slog, too? Or is it rather Murata who adds tenfold content of his own.
well the direction it's taken is certainly ironic but honestly I feel one punch man is more of a parody than a satire. I never got the Sense one punch man was trying to be critical of shonen just exaggerating certain aspects for fun. If if was being satirical than it would've been dumb for it to become the thing it was attacking but I think it just toned itelf down and settled into being a more conventional series.

Murata is not adding nothing on his own, it is all done by One.

The tournament was not bad but the pacing got a bit too slow.

Garou is great, this couple of chapters have been amazing just by seeing his evolution.

This is probably the best drawn battle manga I've seen in a long damn time. Murata is an amazing artist at the peak of his game right now whether it's the beautifully detailed artwork to the amazing paneling. That 150 page chapter was as beautiful as it was long.

The tournament part was the only one that feels like a nonsense fillers
But the rest have been great so far

I wasn't sure about the direction of the manga at first, but goddamn these recent chapters have been absolute killer. I have no clue how Murata can draw like that; his art is so dynamic and just pulls you in, it's pretty incredible

Not saying Murata can't do dynamic actions by himself, but you have to also give praise to ONE, he is really great in creating dynamic action scenes, you can see it too in Mob Psycho 100. It's just that his drawing kinda sucks XD, but the essence is there I think.

This is true. ONE actually had some really great if rough action scenes in webcomic version of this arc. The final fight could be kept as is but recreated in Murata's style and would blow out the redrawn Boros fight.

The Stussining
Had a chance to pick up volume 14 so I did and now I can finally say (again) I'm happy to be done with the tournament. I'm hoping there is a good pay off but these last few volumes have really put a damper on my enjoyment of the series. I only liked 1-2 characters from the tournament so following it for this long has been meh. The punch line of Saitama coming in to save everyone really did not work this time and I wasn't really amused by it as much as usual. Hoping Volume 15 will fix that since it's about impossible for the tournament to do anything anymore and I feel like getting back to everyone else will bring the series up a notch again. But hot damn has that tournament halted all the momentum I was feeling with Garou.

Don't worry, you'll be getting a lot of Garou.
Quite a lot.

What the hell is this? According to Yonkou, the first episode is premiering this weekend, but the entire season will be airing in WINTER 2020. @_@

starting now and stopping halfway through the arc would be a bad idea

I take it they meant the series will be completely aired by winter 2020.
Which means it'll premiere around...june-august next year..?

Great action in this chapter that really shows the gulf between Class S and everyone else. I'm excited to see
Tatsumaki finally humbled in this upcoming battle

Those dragon level monsters do not look very impressive or too threatening I must say {except Orochi in the background) .

Over 100 pages goddamn Murata is a monster. That doble spread with Tsumaki and Jagan was phenomenol.

Murata ain't even being sly about it at this point.

I'm also reminded of the snoo snoo scenes from Futurama.

I expect her to become one of the most popular characters in the series even if she's only in a few panels.
