Back on topic: Minecraft play together should offer "exclusive " characters to each platform.
Windows Store should have a Microsoft Clippy, Xbox should have a little Halo, Nintendo a Mario, android an Android , Steam a Morgan Freeman, and iOS an iPhone with hands and arms and his face on the screen.
Now get this:
-all characters are FREE and can be obtained for free, however, you can only obtain them by inviting a person of that platform into your party, befriending them, and playing with them for 1 hour.
How cool would that be?

How self-proclaimed hardcore gamers perceive this whole issue with Sony and crossplay, it's bad sure it is, the issue with Fortnite and id accounts being blocked is probably not getting the attention it deserves, but if anything it's clearly that at least currently the general consumer doesn't give a damn about it, otherwise we would be seeing a decline on Sony's lead which might or might not happen and even if it happened it might not be because of this.

Let them do them, but it's just weird that there is only one device in my entire house which doesn't work well with others.. just the same as when everyone gave it to MS when they weren't onboard with crossplay, eventually people are going to realize it's an awful stance for Sony as well that doesn't benefit them in any way.
