juice WRLD lyrics in general are corny and bad but his delivery makes up for it.

anyways, unrelated: some rapper i used to go to high school with and who's from literally the same superb/neighbourhood as me has a couple tracks blowing up around vancouver clubs and got a nessly feature and, this is the best part: my man's stage name is JMON.

LP4 has now been renamed to "The Best Years of Our Life."

Pretty clear that this LP is going to address the Ameer situation.

Shouts out to the serpentwithfeet feature.

EDIT 2: Shoutsout to Matt Champion channeling the spirit of Kurt Cobain with that look.

Some of y'all getting too excited for Scorpion. As someone who fux with dude I expect a few bangers and a bunch of mediocre shit because Drake might be the most inconsistent major artist out there when it comes to his own albums

Gotta agree. His verses were usually the ones that stuck out to me the most and really rounded out the sound on a lot of those Saturation tracks

I don't think this song they performed is bad, but it's definitely a departure from the Saturation sound that they created, and I hope it isn't too indicative of what their next album's sound is going to be

scorpion will likely be another bloated snorefest with a couple catchy singles that'll sell phenomenally and ultimately be forgotten after a month and a half. unless he's revising the whole thing post Pusha sonning, i don't see anything in his recent history that suggests he's shifted out of cruise control since the last two. he's apparently sticking with I'm Upset as the lead, which is also not a great sign, though to be fair he might have been too committed to that to bail by the time the video was underway

I know its all very similar, but I can't help but bop and lean when listening to it in the sun. Only half the songs I posted are Afrotrap, the rest are just French hip hop.

I see both view points as being valid and having their own worth but budden doesn't have his hat out looking for views. He is a valid voice in hip hop and holds weight.

Oh, no doubt he is a legit voice but he goes out of his way to draw attention. I listened to the linked podcast and as usual, its filled with inaccuracies.

Rosenberg wasn't happy or say he deserved it. Kay and LeGreca aren't conservatives. Their show also isn't just pure sports, especially the half hour from 6pm-630pm where Rosenberg reports on sports, media, music, and pop culture. Budden knows Rosenberg and knows he had a far more nuanced response and reaction afterward, yet he picks that one moment out. Easy target.

Also, I hate hate hate this mentality "if what we did when we were 17,18,19 was known...." really? Were you raping women? You were a homophobe trying to kill a gay man? And who cares if this wasn't your reality 10-20 years ago? Maybe I was raised differently but when I was a kid I damn well knew raping is not ok.

Where you raised the way X was raised? No. The kid who used violence to get the attention of his mother because the only way he got to see her was when he got in trouble. Principle office or in bookings. Kid never had any guidance growing up. I have family full of teachers and guidance counselors. I have met many kids with similar backgrounds like X. Even kids that committed murder. The young man was changing and growing as a person in the past year doing a lot good for the communities. The person he was when he came into the music scene(16) is not the same person from the past year. You can hear it in his music and through his instagram videos. I believe people can change and grow. I never hold the past against anyone. I am not God to judge anyone or jury. So using your point of view on life and compare it to a person who didn't have it the way you did is disingenuous. That's not fair and it doesn't work that way.
