I'd like to see a better way to grind SP. The Warriors maps spoiled us. I think it's still too early for a Christmas banner - give it another two weeks.
I finished upgrading my Arena team's Sacred Seals to level 3. Robin gets Distant Def 3, Eirika gets Hardy Bearing 3, Nino gets Deflect Magic 3, and Alfonse/Sharena/Anna gets Panic Ploy 3. Feels good :)

I've definitely been a bit cooler on the game as of late, since a lot of the joy comes from toying with new builds, but if you don't get a lot of interesting characters in your pulls, you'll have less things to toy around with. I've been reasonably fortunate in my pools and I'm still feeling a bit of ennui.
That being said, after pulling Halloween Henry, I've been playing around with a double-Guidance team via Tana and Elincia w/ Guidance 2 Seal, plus H! Henry and Hector/Arden/BK. BK in particular is hilarious, since my Henry is using Fury and quickly gets into WoM range, at which point the BK can pull off all sorts of nonsense with 2 Guidance fliers hovering around combined with weakened Henry and 2 move range from Armor March. I've also done lots of ridiculousness with a WoM Dancer replacing one of the Guidance fliers. Don't think it's done so hot as Arena defense, but hopefully it was still interesting to run into.

I've got 5 H Henrys. 4 are all -ATK and one is +HP.

Hurray! I've finally managed to complete 11-12 Lunatic CC. Just had to get to 12-4 with my first team intact so I can spend my reinforcements on the last two maps.
I used:
B!Lyn - Mulagir/Repo/Draconic Aura, Swift Sparrow/Sacae/Hone Cav/DDef3
Rein - Usual set up, I ran Goad Cav as C
Axezura - WoM1 was enough, ran Deflect Magic 3
Elincia - Amiti/Repo/Luna, DB3/Hit&Run/- with Guidance Seal.
Turned out the guidance Seal wasn't really needed for 11-3, you can repo axezura over the mountain just fine.
Looking forward to more stuff coming out soon now that I've finally cracked this one :)

For the F2P players, how much attention y'all pay to IVs? I've been lucky so far that I haven't gotten any 5*s with straight up bad IVs, but am wondering what I would do if I get a character I really want with trash IVs
4 colourless and 1 green on the DB banner. Pulled a Klein, so farewell 3.5% pity rate and Delthea.

I pay attention to them, but beggars can't be choosers unless its a unit you can get at 3* or 4*, at which point you can be a bit more picky.

Perhaps they could not display tiers that aren't being used. I get what they mean when they do it, but it looks silly.
Well tomorrow you at least have a presentation to rewatch (assuming it airs in the middle of the night for you too), at least 5 pages to check in this thread, maybe even a thread in the main-gaming-forum to check, update the game via the play/app store, update the game via in-game-update, possibly check out the new heroes, pull for the new heroes, rage at pulling 3* berukas for the x-tenth time again, rage at the IVs after getting a new hero and finally check out the QoL updates and new stuff in the game. ^^
That should schedule the morning. All because of this game ... it's something. ^^

I can't even be too mad at that, she's still going to be better than my Palla. I'll just give her the Attack seal, my flying team just got an upgrade.

The idea is that I wanted to build a team that could travel around the mountain map(Shanna had the guidance seal to help Henry, Inigo had Wings of Mercy and S.Corrin was already down to 1 HP thanks to Fury) and I also wanted a team that could clear 11-5(Henry has the highest Res of the units I've built, so he could tank everything after I got rid of Celica and making it easier for me to pick off the others).
They lost at some point in the chapter 12 maps, and I switched to a horse team of B.Roy, B.Lyn, Cecilia, and Oscar. They lasted until the last map, where I grabbed some extra units to defeat the two enemies that were left.

It has happened at least twice before. It is not the norm, but they have done it in the past when they didn't have new units to use.
Most of the day 1 community is bored about the game, and is keep playing because of the time already spent or the money in the game.
I really hope that intsys will wake up from this many months of nothing exciting to do..
Game is really popular in japan as in usa, but really, the content is not in there.
all the monthly things they put are rehused assets/map/challanges with new names or quests.
The only real content we get is banners and ghb.
I don't understand where are all the people working on the title or what are they really doing..

I don't mind having a little less to do in the game for a little while, tbh. The break from these grindy events is OK. But I'm saving orbs for Christmas (510 currently), so I'm not pulling on any banners, I have no units that need leveling, and I have no fodder left for the units I want to build. That basically leaves me with the singular goal of staying in tier 20 this week, and really for the next couple weeks until whenever the Christmas banner shows up.

The highest I saved up was about 300-400, somewhere around there. It's pretty nice to have so much ready to increase chances of getting what I want.
I'll probably try to go back to saving. I have good enough units to clear the more challenging stuff that I can just try to collect characters I care about.
I generally get more or less what I want out of every banner and I don't particularly save (most I had was like 50, and that was yesterday).
That said, it's my first time in this OT so I ust wanted to say I play FE:H for the story. I just want to tell Veronica everything will be alright. I wonder if the story will ever be finished?

IVs are important, but a bad IV usually doesn't utterly ruin a character. If anything, you can usually salvage it with a seal or something, or just by playing around it a little more. If the character really hinges on a particular stat then a bane in that stat definitely hurts, but you can almost always still use the unit. It just won't be as good as other versions of the same unit.

I stopped checking them for 5*s I pull.It's just not worth it.
Still do if I either end up with two of the same and am merging them (in which case I want to keep whichever is preferable) or am upgrading something to 5*.
Yeah. I spent some ridiculous amount of orbs (300 or something, can't actually remember, could be anywhere from 250+) on the CYL banner and got exactly zero of the units (fuck you clair). Thankfully they gave out Bow Lyn anyway.
You're not getting to +10 anything with 500 orbs. Best case scenario is that's 125 pulls if every single orb is the right colour, all 5 every time, and it would be utterly impossible to hit the low% rate 11 times with that few attempts.

You can build around it for a number of units if you plan accordingly. I've got a few 5* units rolling some pretty bad IVs but it hasn't really stopped me using them. I have a -Atk/+Res Minerva that I run as a flying tank with Bonfire but without LoD3 and she still breaks things, even without Flier support. I don't go near Advanced Arena but successfully float around Tier 18 and manage most of the things the game throws at me with teams rolling such units. Very few are unusable with a bad bane.
Yeah I'm running out of things to do too. I guess I could start using the feathers I've hoarded to start promoting some 4* or doing 5* merges.

they haven't removed any heroes from the 5 star pool, have they?
No they didn't. A lot of people are hoping they will announce removing units from the 5 star pool in the channel.
