For 4 trailers, it seems like Kojima has basically done nothing but introduce celebrities, repeat scenes over and over and showcase beautiful graphics. I don't get it. It just seems pretentious. Are you making a videogame or a movie?
I hope the game turns out well, but I am honestly getting annoying with how it is being presented. The game was revealed 2 years ago, and we still don't know much. It doesn't help that it probably won't come out till 2019 at the earliest.
There is no question here at all of what they're making.
The gameplay scenes showed us the scale of levels we can expect, the genre, the inclusion of stealth play, a focus on traversal, and maybe a hint of survival play elements. I've said this elsewhere; Phantom Pain released just three years ago and in between they established a team, founded an office,
chose and are continuing to learn a new engine and began marketing and development immediately. The pace of this game's development is actually fast given all of that and we already have a better idea of how this game is going to actually play than some other long announced games (FF7 remake, Cyberpunk).
We're all eager for even more information. Insinuating that it's a non-game is just condescending.
