Why do people claim to love their pets and consider them family yet sterilize them? Shoe on the other foot would you like to be chizzopped?

Sterilizing your dogs is actually good for them, especially female dogs, it prevents problems with their attitude and helps reduce risks of cancer in certain areas.
I am sure if we did that to people that would be true as well but that would be considered cruel. It being routine for dogs in America to get their organs chopped and the all encompassing love people profess for them here never added up to me. I grew up in another cultue so this was head scratching for me growing up.

Your logic here is something else. First, you are comparing humans to dogs which doesn't make any sense. Second, as I said before it is proven that sterilizing is often in benefit of the dog. Third, it isn't something that happens only in America, it is common in almost everywhere in the world, I don't know where you grew up but that would be the weird place, not America.

listen did you ever read my post about my dogs period pants on gaf? i will copy it

My dog never actually shit on me. But once my families dog had its period and we made it wear period pants, it was clearly not happy about it and constantly tried to get them off, but no success was had even though it rubbed itself against anything it could in the living room. But then while it was standing there in the living room it looked, with its back to us who were all kind of laughing at its poor attempts at getting off the pants, its legs started vibrating. You could see all the muscles tightening in its body and then it happened, it was shitting with its pants on. To demonstrate :

It was possible the nastiest thing my dog has ever done and it has done some nasty things, but the dogs plan worked and we had to take the pants of it which at this point was like a full diaper, it was already starting to come off the dog cause the pants were that full of shit, even though a good portion had already gone out of the sides and onto the ground.

What is cruel are the rampant Puppy Mills that spring up with your ignorant stance. Please spay and neuter your pets, not only for the benefit of making sure they do not suffer from early complications or cancer, but to help control the pet population.

I understand where're you're coming from. From what I've seen where I live it seems like it's easier to get people to spay or neuter their pets than it is to get them to properly leash/train their pets so they aren't running around having puppies everywhere that end up going to shelters or whatnot. I know many folks who gets dogs or cats on impulse because of the cuteness factor without considering the responsibilities involved and they end up with animals that are hard to control (for lack of a better word). Of course there are some other considerations pointed out in this thread but yeah it's kind of messed up if you think about it.

I'm not sure he really is a good boy. In fact he can be a bit of an ass. But that just makes him more charming.

I'd say that so far people have only posted OK boys. Allow me to be the first to post the goodest of the boys.

What the hell are you going off about?

Spaying/Neutering is a benefit for the animal. For female dogs it helps prevent infections, vaginal prolapse and cancer. With Male dogs it helps control aggression(most dog attacks are male dogs that aren't neutered), testicular cancer and prostate issues. Then we also need to understand it helps prevent unwanted pregnancy and stray animals.

These are Bulma and Matilda. Bulma's very energetic and usually annoys the shit out of Matilda, who wants to sleep all day, so Bulma sometimes ends up with a few light scratches, but they are both very loving and like to cuddle with each other.
