don't know which off the top of my head but the BOTW where he starts pouring booze on Rich out of a giant flask comes to mind for me

The Star Wars Christmas Special episode came to mind. In many of the other videos he seems to just be acting, in that one he (and everyone else too tbh) actually seems pretty drunk.

It's this. I believe they later said that that was collectively the drunkest they all (sans Rich) ever got for an RLM video.

This is the one I was thinking of.

Mike brought out the giant novelty flask in thinking it would be a good joke, but repeatedly pressing that joke button led to intoxication (because it was filled with alcohol, not water), which led to Mike thinking the joke was really funny and wanting to do it more, which led to even more intoxication, and eventually Rich had enough of it, and Mike seemed to display a couple flashes of genuine anger when he realized that Rich was ruining his joke by not playing along with him.

It started out as "joke drunk" played for laughs, but it turned into "genuine drunk" and was probably the drunkest that Mike-specifically has been in an RLM video.

From their latest patreon email they have two new videos coming:

- half in the bag for hereditary
- bonus video they didn't specify that they were able to film. I'd guess a re:view

I'm with Jay for the most part. The only thing I didn't like about Hereditary was the complete lack of police. I know that's true for a lot of horror movies, but it was really hard to ignore for this one (for various reasons).

Hang on, if Mike referenced an episode of Twilight Zone in this episode, does that mean Jenny is going to reference Star Trek in her Hereditary review?

I'm glad they replaced Mike with Mike, definitely an upgrade for the crew.

Just saw Hereditary. It's defo one of those Jay Baumann weirdo sex pervert movies. I haven't watched the HITB yet but there's no doubt in my mind that he liked it a lot.

Is it as scary as people are making out ? (haven't watch the HITB yet)
I don't consider myself a tough guy or anything, but there wasn't really any part in the movie where I was scared. I felt it establishes what 'kind' of scary movie it is early on, where it's kind of all atmosphere and a slow build of the movie becoming more and more WEIRD. There's no jump scares and you can tell the movie is above that kind of cheap thrill. It is shocking though, with a handful of left turns in the plot, and a couple instances of "I can't believe they showed that" type body horror.

Comparisons to The Witch are apt. I like Witch more but Hereditary is still a Good Movie.

lol i've actually been saying something similar for a while

disney is going to start exploting that hardcore fanbase. see the movie one week early and get a free limited edition poster for only $49.95 a ticket!

these people fly across the country/world and spend hundreds of dollars to wait in line for 10 hours to see a commercial for a star wars movie. you think they won't pay up to watch the movie itself a little early?

Yeah, the only issue is that those 25 million aren't close to being the number of those folks, that would be closer to maybe ten thousand than a million, let alone 25.

I mean, I consider myself a big Star Wars fan, but I am waiting for VOD on these Star Wars Stories movies. I see no reason to rush to a theater to watch them.

And Perverts.

I just think Disney needs to stop trying to turn Star Wars into Marvel.
Or at least dig up those EU books they buried and work with those. Try to diversify this shit.

I mean, they are pretending the entire Star Wars Universe takes place in the span of 3 generations of folks so far, there is a truckload of lore and universe to explore and all they are doing is fanservice movies from the OT, that is the real crime here.

Even if you want to do the marvel formula on star wars, don't try and retro fit the original 6 films into that formula. Make a new saga that stars a new cast of characters separate from the original timeline, then build from there.

all i want

is a god damn space bounty hunter movie. Introduce Rando the Dude. Who goes into the seedy underbellies and hunts cool looking gross aliens. Not fucking Han.

Not fucking Bobba. New character. Do Not Steal.

I call fake on 73% hardcore fans and 6% perverts being separate percentages without overlap.

Yep. Perverts would be a subgroup (or perhaps a supergroup) within all three of the other options.

Unless Scientist Man is counting "pure perverts". As in, "I didn't buy two tickets to watch Solo because I'm a hardcore Star Wars fan, or a casual Star Wars fan, or even just a non-fan moviegoer, I bought two tickets to watch Solo because I wanted to have sex with this here prostitute, and the theater was cheaper than a hotel."

The sad thing is that if Disney pulls this, even if it's just to see the film a week in advance and charge $100 for it, they'd still make a lot of money.

For reference, here in Singapore, we get anime movies released at two different intervals, one week before (or was it one month before, can't remember) and the normal screening. People here would pay up to $60 for a ticket to see the movie one week earlier and get a limited edition poster or other cheap tat for the exclusivity of it. A regular movie ticket is around $15. So there is empirical evidence to suggest this would work.
