Of they could, they chose not to. One is organic which shows interest the other is going for maximum awareness.Ahhhhh, Sony can't do it with a 12 minute video? Should've released a small trailer alongside it.

Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding have gone past Halo: Infinite despite having their trailers uploaded a day later.
people were not kidding about C&C being the most disliked game holy shit
Damn, why all the dislikes? I never played C&C.people were not kidding about C&C being the most disliked game holy shit
They closed down Westwood 15 years ago, ran C&C into the ground and killed it and now, 8 years later, they're reviving it as a mobile game, specifically saying it's "Command & Conquer for the next generation." It was as if they wanted this kind of backlash.
Battletoads is more relevant than Gears 5, Crackdown 3 and Ori???
Pretty much, tlou2 is my most anticipated game, but i can only watch the video like 2-3times. But for something like dmc5, where its so catchy and flashy i can put it on loop.Remember it's not just about the popularity of the game but also how rewatchable the trailer is. I don't need to watch the Gears 5 trailer twice, but I must have replayed Cyberpunk's one a dozen times to catch all the details.
C&C used to be big, not Starcraft big but maybe second right behind Starcraft & Warfract for PC RTS. It has a huge fanbase, from all C&C to the Red Alert spin offs.
They killed the series with C&C 3 & 4 that were disapointing and straight up shit.
Now they revive it as... a mobile clone of Clash Royale... People are pissed for good reasons

TLoU - 13.56 Million views, about to cross doom trailer which ran as ads to boost its view count.
Ghost of Tsushima - 9.3 Million views, freaking insane for a new IP.
Death Sranding - 8.4 Million
Spider-Man - 7.8 Million. Another video with 2.6 Million views.
All these sony games were 8-10 minutes videos and were not run as ads. Absolutely amazing.

Regarding ad boosting, it's crazy just how much the Fallout 76 trailer was boosted.I think it'd be good to have a bar chart that has all the major trailer's
- 24/48/60/72/100 hour views at points of time to see how they track within the first week metrics-wise.
- At a broader level, you can then do a week 2/week 3 views update to see which trailer has the best post-E3 legs.
And also, it'd be good imo - to highlight trailers that has very disporptionate views/likes ratio in the dataset to begin with with a different colour, so that people can see at first glance what data is an anomoly in terms of potential ad boosting/etc.
Guess that's true
Those last of us numbers are crazy considering it's an exclusive
One last look at last year's view counts, using the updated tracking visualizer.
Ads.I didn't remember there being that much buzz around Fallout 76.

Can we get a graph with the # of Likes/Dislikes to get a better grasp? OP?Ads played a huge factor, to be clear - but it was not just ads.

The Fallout brand is really, really strong. There were a significant level of mainstream and hardcore early excitement for that game - before Bethesda fucked it up in the worst ways possible.
makes Sense DS's first trailer would increase given hype from the latest trailer.
