The Summer of the Switch has begun, what games are you getting?

Im getting :

Hollow Knight (Already have it on Steam, but I seriously think this game should be $30 at least, it is crazy a game this good it's $15.)
Octo Expansion (Haven't played much splatoon but I love the art and music also my niece plays it almost everyday.)
Mario Teenis Aces (Pre-ordered, great demo)
Mario + Rabbids DLC (Really liked the game, hopefully the dlc is just as good)
Octoptath Traveler (Probably my most anticipated title this year)
Captain Toad (Looks so cute!)
Overcooked 2 (First one was so much fun playing with my gf)

All those 100% buying, maybe a couple more but will have to see.

Urgh you're right :-(. I had it written down as September 28th, but Googling it now I see this date was based on a Best Buy listing, while the Amazon listing says October 16, and there is no actual official date...

Not to be a downer, but that's kind of a list of fuck all for my personal tastes :/

I might pick up Octopath and Lumines, but there's nothing else there that tickles my fancy.

Man, summer is legit packed. I got Hollow Knight for now, and I may bite for Aces, Octopath, Octo expansion, Titan Quest, and MHGU, depending on impressions. That list got longer than I expected as I was typing.

I'll be to busy playing the Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall of PS4!

(actually, I am thinking of picking up a Switch for Octopath...looks cool)

Damn like that list does almost nothing for me at all, with the exception of Octopath, Hollow Knight and Octo expansion there is nothing else I want.

Otherwise, I'll be playing Fighting EX Layer on PS4.

Oh, I DID check out Fortnite yesterday though and the 50 vs 50 thing is fun. I'll pop into that every now and then for sure.

I just got Hollow Knight and Fortnite and I can barely wait for Octopath Traveler. These will do just fine until fall.

Octopath (possibly) and Overcooked 2 here. Octopath is a maybe because it's a long RPG and I'm not sure I'll have time for it. Overcooked is a yes for sure because we loved the first one.

The Lost Child is another JRPG releasing in June. I have no idea if it's good or not but it's some kind of SMT clone so it might be interesting.

I downloaded Fortnite yesterday but haven't tried it.

Already pre-loaded Mario Tennis Aces - this is the big summer game for me.

Might circle back and get Hollow Knight later on but I've got a few other eShop games I want to finish up before buying another one.

Already got Fortnite (and simultaneously West of Loathing, so have an immediate backlog). Will probably get Octopath Traveler. Octo expansion is a maybe--I actually don't really like the Splatoon singleplayer that much, but maybe it changes up the formula? Wolf 2 and Hollow Knight I will probably get at some point.

I'm undecided about Ys and Mario Tennis. Is the former not just a bad XB2? And the demo of the latter showed godawful internet connection speeds, so I'm not buying it until it gets solved.

Great months all in all though.

So many "Good but not system seller" comments here...really, which is better? A single system seller or a collection of good to great games which you can take with you in addition to playing them on your TV?

Lumines and Mario Tennis already loaded onto my Switch and ready to go. Pretty much nothing else after that for a long time. Not exactly loving the Switch as much this year as I did last year.

None. Maybe Octopath down the line, but nothing else sparks any interest in me. There are a couple multi-platform games, but I wouldn't get them on the Switch.

Does Wolfenstein 2 have motion aiming? That's the deciding factor for me.
