I think we'll hit 70 chars or so before DLC and I'd be fine with that. Everything looks incredible. A lot of characters have got some kinds of rework.

Let's agree that this is a new game in the same vein as Hyper Fighting to Turbo. It's still Street Fighter II at the end of the day.
I have to watch gameplay and immediately be able to discern it's a new game like all the other Super Smash Bros. titles.

dont get me wrong, ill still preorder the legendary collector's edition of tlou2, but we just have to accept that it's just an enhanced port of god of war: ascension.

So we're expecting more new characters/Echo characters? I haven't had a chance to watch the full Direct yet.

So has anyone combed through the videos to see changes? I've already gone through every character video and listed the changes I noticed to my friends in Discord
I'm surprised so many people are upset. I honestly thought everyone would be hyped because all of the characters are coming and we're getting Ridley as one of the newbies to boot.

At first glance it looks like Wii U but the character vids showcase a lot of new animations and moves. Nearly everything characters do is familiar but animated slightly differently.
I think people are referring to the UE logo on this screen from the very end of the Direct. But Dark Souls Remastered, Fortnite, and Bethesda are also listed here (to credit properties show in the entire Direct, not list a new engine).
My big question - is switching still their Down B, or is there another way to do it (like a taunt)? Cutting a Charizard move seems un-Sakurai.
