Oh nice, didn't spot that!
Strong reaction to something minor sums up a lot of the response to this game on this forum. People seem so offended by it just because they made an easy game.Lol. That seems like a strong reaction to something minor. It's just a game dude. It's a minor bump.
Oh wow, missed this while writing my other post, this is just sad if true. You HAVE to have a water/grass type to enter the gym? the fuck???? :(
Even then, it's not like we're seeing content half way in, at the end, etc. beginning sections of Pokémon have always been easy imo. We can't judge the full game yetStrong reaction to something minor sums up a lot of the response to this game on this forum. People seem so offended by it just because they made an easy game.

you heard it wrongso did I hear that right that you have to trade "link codes" to even battle with someone online?
if so, WTF, can Nintendo please join the 2000s?
As someone who folled OT of Breath of the wild, I can tell you : LOT of people gave up the game because they had 0 arrow to tell them what do next.Tutorials are such lazy game design.
Devs should learn from botw.
They added an extra layer of tutorial to the start of the game, who cares.I don't mind increased odds, the new catching system, more pokemon to counter the first gym being avaliable, help options, two trainers against one and etcetera
but this
is directly interfering with the game, not just the difficulty
Yeah, that's really worrying.I know this game is not aimed at me... but that hand holding when the Gym dude asks to see that you have a Water or Grass Pokemon...
*deep breath*
I'm glad that Game Freak is doing this project before the next generation. Hopefully they learn a lot from it, at least technologically, and can leverage that knowledge for the next "core" installment.
I'm not having any issues watching Nintendo's Youtube stream. Well, besides the game looking boring, that is.

so there's just regular matchmaking, meaning I can just battle random people I don't know?

no tree house is in depth coverage and each session is like 1 hour
That's a clever EV strengthening ideaFull range of stats and strengthening Pokemon stats confirmed. Catch Pokemon, send back to professor for candy (more sent = more candy) and each candy type boosts a different stat.

It was a simple example of how much the players feel lost without hand holdings, lolWhat's great is that the game is open so there's no where you really HAVE go.
If people gave up at that point is because they have been groomed by bad game design. Non gamers and casual gamers are engaged by good fun moment to moment gameplay. Not tutorials.
There's a reason botw will be the best selling in the series, even beyond TP on the successful wii.
Yeah, the Pokémon populating the overworld is the epitome of rubbish.I know let's go is aimed for new players and gen 8 will be for veterans next year but goddamn everything I see of Let's Go just makes me think its rubbish.
This might be a dumb question but has anyone from Nintendo said that we're getting announcements during the Treehouse segments?
I know last year we got Sushi Striker and Samus Returns but I haven't heard anyone say we should expect similar things here.
No? They're just taking a break. They did this between Smash and Pokemon too.Wait they only showing two games today? They really were conservative with this E3 wow.
You have a PC everywhere now. Catch a grass pokemon then show it to the guy then PC it.anyone who likes building different teams?
you were never FORCED to capture certain pokemon before. only encouraged
and so what if my daughter wants to beat brock with me while we only use metapods? wait we cant, need to show this random fucko an oddish first or he wont let us battle for whatever reason
They didnt show that, they only showed local battles, but there was an online "far away" optionso there's just regular matchmaking, meaning I can just battle random people I don't know?
