Not a Smash fan so that was pretty disappointing to me. I actually wanted to see the rumored Star Fox racing game.

Meh. Fire Emblem looks amazing, but it being delayed is a huge blow.

Smash Bros. really does look to be a enhanced port, essentially. Disappointed they didn't talk about single player stuff at all (and considering this was a massive info dump, I think that means it probably isn't coming), and maybe it's just me, but outside of Ice Climbers, Wolf and Snake...I didn't need anyone else back. Not really wahat I wanted them to be spending time on. They've barely changed Link. Barely changed Ganondorf. Idk, it definitely isn't the substantial jump I need to be really excited for it.

Great E3 Direct that fit in with the last few years (burn through a bunch of games with a large focus on the big one).

There's also a huge theme of "look how fucking exhausting this game is to make, please appreciate it" from Sakurai lol

Smash Bros looks fucking amazing.

Started well but that was really underwhelming.

Honestly, I thought I had quite low expectations - just expected to see Smash, Pokemon, Yoshi, Fire Emblem as it was this year, but instead we got that FE isn't this year any more, no sign of Yoshi, barely anything on the Pokemon and 6 hours of Smash patch notes. Boring. I guess a few shadow drops was cool but... nah. Surprised we weren't at least thrown a bone on something like Metroid or Bayonetta etc.

Literally all Nintendo has to do to do better than Sony was announce one new major game, or some WiiU ports or something.

Even SE had a better conference. How is that possible?

Incredible Direct.

However, theyre holding a lot back for Treehouse. We know for a fact that 2 more Splatoon stages are coming soon because they have been data-mined. I expected a 60 second trailer for them, so that means they will show it off in the treehouse

No Retro, no set date for Dark Souls, no Bayo 3, MP4, P*...and as someone who doesn´t care much about Smash I think it was too much. Not happy :(

Essentially we watched a Smash Direct. The other games quickly faded away with their less than a minute of showtime.

anyone else stuggling to fight the urge to create a reaction thread?

so basically, what am I supposed to look forward to in 2018 if I don't play Pokemon and Smash? (which I don't)

That was great, probably terrible for everyone that doesn't like Smash though.

There's surely still other Nintendo directs to look forward to this year though, settle down.

No Metroid and no retro studios game. This conference was HORRIBLE! They could've done this in depth look on smash during the tree house. What the fuck

What. The. Fuck? Worst Direct/PC ever. And it's not even close. They stopped doing PCs because they had no content, now they don't even have enough content to fill a Direct.

If Smash didn't look so fucking cool, I'd be pretty disappointed, but Smash looks awesome, so I'm cool. This year is pretty dire though. I'll literally end up buying like three games for Switch in 2018.

Someone explain something to me about Smash...

Is that a new Smash game or is this basically "Super Smash Bros 2 Turbo" compared to the Wii U's "Smash Bros 2" if that makes any sense?
