So square is basicly doing what some people already suggested. Just release some of your games digital only etc for the Xbox Audience if you dont wanna risk bad retail sales

I still need to get the PC version despite its issues, so I'm gonna double dip anyway. I guess if I had an XBox I'd just fucking triple dip for this game.

Before you buy it, I recommend watching some gameplay videos and reviews from non hyped sources. Look for info on the multiple playthroughs too.

This game can be a big hype trap.

When I bought it nobody told me any of this, so here is my friendly warning. :)

Digital only sucks, will be waiting on a price drop for this. Hopefully the 1X version is the best one yet in terms of performance.

Every single person wanting more Japanese games on Xbox needs to buy this game. BUY IT! The soundtrack alone is worth the price of admission.

Not necessarily but there's cameos and nods that have more impact of you're familiar with them. I recommend checking out Clemp's retrospectives on YouTube. They're super in-depth and should help you get caught up in no time.

You can still go in blind with no problem if you want, though.

Probably the most puzzlingly praised game of the gen. It does a lot of cool stuff and undermines it with a bunch of shit that holds it back from greatness, yet people act like it's brilliant.

It's not brilliant, it's just good. But more platforms is great, anyway. Just be prepared for something budget-tier as fuck. Kind of like God Hand.

Honestly, had the whole game been structured like the prologue it would probably have been truly amazing.
