The only mechanic I hated and don't want to return is the revving. That shit was terrible and really interrupted the flow of combat.
You were doing it wrong if it interrupted the flow of combat
It's an ingenious mechanic

Watching the trailer again, I'm liking the look of the combat, but the aesthetic style they went with is still a little off-putting
The trailer literally started with that detective looking guy giving a Rodin type speech. He's blowing out smoke and I'm waiting for him to look at Nero doing air combos and let out a soft, "Stylish."CAPCOM adopting platinum's tradition of having clowny ass sidekicks I see...
Wait, is the city called Red Grave City?
Solid reference if that is the case.
Wait a second...
Is Nero using his own arm as a ridable rocket?
How can you hate on this game. How can you.
I actually made a post on another forum saying the same thing lmaoIs it just me, or does Nero look like the main protagonist from Scalebound?
DMC > Bayo > DMCThe pretty normal people at Giantbomb made Bayonetta comparisons with the music and how stylish the cutscenes were. Some people have memories for good things instead of nothing but their nightmares.
That's a bummer. I hope they put the song up.Anyone else notice that the Capcom Unity blog post removed the info about Nero's battle theme "Devil Trigger" being composed by Ali Edwards, and it supposed to have been released now on digital music stores?
You can still view it on the cached version of the page.
Tetsuya Shibata best not have gotten the boot because I was seriously not a fan of the music in the trailer.
whhhaaaaaat, you were definitely doing it wrong. You could rev the sword while attacking enemies. The only way it was interrupting the flow was if you were revving it while just walking around or avoiding enemies. The only mechanic I hated and don't want to return is the revving. That shit was terrible and really interrupted the flow of combat.
Lol!I actually made a post on another forum saying the same thing lmao
So the cloaked undead figure cutting Nero's arm is 99% Vergil who wants to reclaim his son's arm. I think may be this made him become the enw character when revived. Who knows.

Lol Nero you noob, not hitting max exceed on the first rev.Even with such heavy compression you can see how substantial this is when it comes to rendering improvements.

How in the world does something you do mid swing interrupt the flow of combat? The only mechanic I hated and don't want to return is the revving. That shit was terrible and really interrupted the flow of combat.
Stealing this from twitter, but just in case anyone wasn't convinced of Virgil's return.
Mother fucker shows up and jacks his own sons arm just to get his sword back
...and Dante has been fun in DMC3 and 4, IMO. I mean we both like a series where characters we never could've cared about get greater personalities than we could ever imagine, so anything is possible given the right drive ;)I admit I liked her design quite a bit back then, but right now it only reminds me of DMC2. And she has the personality of wet paper, which is unsurprising in a game where even Dante is dull.
Dante jumps off, puts it on his damn shoulder and starts blasting explosive tires out of it.
What a massive improvement. I can't fucking wait.Even with such heavy compression you can see how substantial this is when it comes to rendering improvements.
Pretty low but I would love to be wrong. I expect a REmake2 trailer at Sony's conference. They already confirmed more info at GamescomWhat are the chances of a Dante-focused trailer at Sony's conference ??
I don't see the problem and the people who would talk gameplay differences don't seem to be showing up right now, it's all surface level fans drive-bying to say they don't like thing instead of discussing things.
I'll give you Ellie but the cast of Uncharted looks quite different than they did. Like it's the same designs but there are literal changes in face structure:Sure, he'll look more realistic. But given how ND has knocked it out of the park with their very natural aging and stylistic changes to Ellie, Drake, Elena, Sully, etc... I have very high confidence in them compared to Capcom, who just seem to be trying to follow a trend they aren't particularly specialized in, and whose games aren't particularly suited to.
