There wasn't any footage. It was mainly just a text trailer that said three player coop and 4k hand drawn graphics.
GamePass has really changed how I view MS announcements. Before I couldn't have cared less about this, it seems like a misguided attempt to cash in on nostalgia for a frustrating game that's better remembered for the memes surrounding it than for its gameplay.
But now the most negative reaction I have to anything MS is "Eh, guess I'll try it."

Best known for their multiplayer brawler, Overruled!, Dlala Studios will be bring pain and misery to Gamestop employees everywhere next year.

I'll never get how this game series/the nostalgia for it was memed into existence in the modern age - but like all retro reboot IPs, I'll be there watching carefully.
Hopefully they take inspiration from the arcade game and you can grab opponents by the dick and punch them repeatedly.
Also I hope that it's like old games and it's only really a beat em up for one level, which most people don't figure out because they don't get to the more platforming-focused stuff to start with.

Please tell me this is on the PC. Because I love Battletoads & run the risk of buying an Xbox One for this sole game.

Excited to see what direction they take with this, but man I really feel like they should be doing online co-op for this.
