Oh my god, yes! Best announcement of E3 so far for me. I loved the first Nier and adore Platinum so much that I almost ended up buying a PS4 just for this game (and the Last Guardian).

So excited to finally play this. Wish it came out on disc but I'm happy to have it nonetheless.

Douple-dipping here.

I love this game, will support it (and Yoko Taro) on everything.

Also maybe the One X can hold 60fps better.

I had a lot of fun with this game, until I came to a boss, with nothing to restore HP in my inventory. Havent played since.

Save often and always keep a full inventory.

You know buying digital only may be the most logical choice for Xbone owners considering the availability of refunds and game gifting

Yeah, I'll probably buy it digitally when/if I get it on Xbox. Would be nice for those who like a good box on their shelf (though, with the awful Western box art, I wouldn't exactly call it 'good')

Wonder why this wasn't held off until the conference.

Either way, fuck yes I will buy this again.

Happy birthday to me, I guess. Will definitely play through it again, as well as playing through the DLC for the first time.

My 1st reaction was cool, I'd buy it again.
Then see digital only, nah I'm good.

But cool for anyone who was interested but only have an Xbox.

Square just shot themselves in the foot.

I don't know how much the rest of you know about Japanese culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in America where you can become successful by being an asshole. If you screw someone over in Japan, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.

What this means is the japanese public, after hearing about this, is not going to want to purchase Nier Automata for either system, nor will they purchase any of Square's games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Square has alienated an entire market with this move.

Square, publicly apologize and cancel Nier Automata for Xbox One or you can kiss your business goodbye.

I remember when I did an interview back in 2016 with Yosuke Saito, he said to me pretty confident that Nier Automata won't come to Xbox console, like ever :D

Wait, digital only? Gotta say, that's disappointing to me.

Ah well, at least I have the physical PS4 version.

odd they would announce this hours before the Microsoft conference, seems like this could have been a pretty big announcement there. This is great news though, for those Xbox gamers who haven't yet definitely play this. One of the best games of this gen easily.

EDIT: Oh ok so this went up by mistake. That makes a lot more sense

Invest in healing chips, at a certain point I never had less than like 70% health because it would come back so quick.

Fifty bucks is to steep for a double dip for me, but will pick up on sale.
