What mecha series have you watched? If it's just stuff like Gundam, then something like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is very different as a super robot series compared to those "real robot" series

That sucks, though according to Wiki, they mostly made ecchi stuff, which isn't all that profitable I would assume, so it comes as no surprise.

omg that was a great episode.
Pito is cruel and just slaughters everyone. The insert song was a nice addition to the scene.
LLENN is just as cruel and their strategy was good. The guy being a pervert was unnecessary but I don't really care for these stuff and can just shrug these parts. At least Fuka did justice.
Seems like the show supports LGBT so good for that, the scene with that woman was pretty funny.

In any case, I wish Mishima would play more of a role, though I love how quickly he is to apologize and defend himself whenever he gets caught or questioned by the littlest thing in that loud voice of his, the scenes in the tv station were lol.

I really enjoyed Active Raid from them. It was a really fun series, though the first couple of episodes were a bit awkward in terms of pacing. I wish it had been more successful.
The anime cut out her banter with her squadmate and other people.
They don't know she's female, and she was hitting on the other guys in her and the other ambush squad too.

Really liked this episode, they trying to be normal, the piggy scene at the the end, Hirotaka struggles, the haunted house switch, Hirotaka and Hanako talk. Narumi almost gave a heart attack in the end

i personally very much enjoy neon genesis evangelion - it's a character study about depression with the accouterments of the mecha genre, using its deconstruction to express its themes
just keep in mind that it invokes western religious symbolism as mystic imagery instead of as an underlying theme itself - which from my perspective living in america i find to be an interesting inversion of the typical trope of invoking eastern religious symbolism as mystic imagery
the common "too deep for you" complaints are generally from people looking for deeper religious meaning in the symbolism, when really it serves the opposite purpose of being symbolic for certain behavior

This show remains absolutely amazing. And geeze, Sigsawa really has a thing for androgynous female characters - not that I'm complaining! And she's bisexual, too. Huh. Did not expect that. I just hope the 'perverted queer person' trope does not apply here (we've already got a semi-questionable introduction with the kiss thing).

This movie and dueling as Space Ninjas is pretty fun and hilarious, and the actual bey battle with one of the big five is awesome too. Kuze was so confident, but then that second half. played by Joshua Burns. Lets go Honcho!

Kind of a nothing episode, though we got a few more confidants and a great sequence of Makoto following MC around. Hopefully next week will do some service to the next awakening.
Also that tease at the end seemed unnecessary, though I guess the anime doesn't have the time to fold that character in.

I thought Yutaka Nakamura was gonna to animate for a full episode for sure, but it's just only scene with Bakugo and All Might's fight and that's about it.
I'm not very disappointed though; it was still fantastic.

Whoa, wasn't expecting that time skip. I'm happy for my girl ECP making it overseas but kind of sad as that was Suzuka's dream that's been sidelined, temporarily I hope.
Great comeback for Grass Wonder! This was a humbling loss for Spe-chan as well. It's great that she's caring for Suzuka but it's borderline obsessive and she also needs to focus on herself! She also has a dream to work towards. Seeing Suzuka succeeding at rehab was encouraging and I hope she's running sooner than later.
What the heck is with these moving themes and drama. This show continues to excel.

That "too deep" is what turned me off and always thought it was "too edgy" while I was a teenager.
Gonna give it a try, better to take advantage while it is still available on Netflix on my area.
No idea which Gundam was it back when I was young, I remember Mazinger Z, I even hated on Power Rangers when the mecha part started haha. The ones I can say I remember watching completely are Gene Shaft and Candidate for Goddess which I actually remember quite fondly, now that I think about it I guess that's the reason I haven't dropped FranXX, it reminds me so much of it with with the FxM partners, Female mechas and back when life was much more simpler.
Wait a second, did Franxx rip it off too? it even had the overweight character too, and his arc was handled a thousand times better.
I remember he had to lose weight, those too were missing for some time and dude came back super thin and no stamina, with her saying it was a secret how they manage to do so, my impression was "Wait a... Did, did they bang until he got fit? that's it wasn't it."
