I don't think so. There are popular sonic characters that aren't heroes that have replacements
I could totally See rose instead of being Amy, Cream and Big. Being Amy, blaze , and like vector. And before you say vector is unfounded, vector was on amy's team in a riders game. In that scenario, there is no chaotix. So that leaves room for the weirdo team. Weirdo Team could be Silver, Chaos , and like Zavok or something. And before you say " Zovok or the d6 aren't popular and they suck " my retort is " I know that, that doesn't mean sonic team knows that or cares because they certainly keep using them "
And then Eggan team is Metal Sonic, infinite, and Dr. Eggman. And Eggpawn is just an extra racer that was used for in game modes you can unlock.

They should use the old CRTs but every image is just Sonic modded into Super Smash Bros. Melee
Zavok is going to be playable in Team Sonic Racing and waste a slot. You all know Sonic Team is gonna mandate it.

I am considering tackling Sonic Lost World in my Steam game list next, and I will probably use the Switch Pro Controller for this game. I played a fair share of platformers so I would like to know how this game feels like to play. Given that the only other Sonic 3D game that I played (besides Sonic 3D Blast and Sonic R) is Sonic Heroes, I probably didn't have much to base my expectations on Sonic.
Do you all have any pointers?

I don't hate Lost World... but... out of all the 3D Sonic games you could play, why this one?
It was cheap on a Steam sale so I got that game but I haven't bothered with it, and besides, I am going through my backlog. and I am quite curious about it given that I like platformers, and I plan to beat it to completion without going through the hidden levels.
I guess in a way I am probably saving the better one for later, though I didn't have Generations in my Steam account yet.

Cool to see Team Sonic Racing announced for Japan immediately. SEGA Superstars Tennis and ASR notably never released there, and Transformed took like two years to arrive there.
As for the Deadly Six, I think they make a lot of sense for racers but considering the roster size I think they could end up being bosses (like the tank thing from Transformed) or something. Zazz has grown on me and I have always liked Zeena's design so they would not be the worst possible additions ever or anything I guess. That would be Mephiles.

Nah, Espio has notably missed out on loads of playable slots in the past like the Olympics titles. Plus, this game is going to need as many large characters as it can get for the power class.
It's weird how accustomed to old reused out-of-context voice clips the ASR games have made me.
That means that Kirk Thorton had to re-record his shadow voice and make it decent like in forces.
So that's fine by me

What can you tell us about the music: Who is working on it and can we please get Angel Island instead of Green Hill already please?
Also put in a track editor so we can recreate a Metropolis track in the same design as Cortex's Castle from CTR.

Completely understand and respect that. Whatever you are doing, keep it up!
The amount of dialog is pretty annoying, but it is nice to hear unique voice clips for a change. Seems like SEGA's actually giving this one a decent budget for once thankfully.
That said, I will also totally miss contextually awkward ones like when Ryo Hazuki smashes someone off a course and he calmly says "Sorry, I'm in a hurry".

Just saw the Iisuka vid, and I am so happy he acknowledges that is has been too long since we've had a pure Sonic Racing experince. After today's Team Dark reveal and the interview, I am even more hyped.
Why even say that? Of course I do. There's a time and place for everything though, and after 5 long years, Sonic needs his own Racer again. Besides, Sega is using its other IPs in other ways now, with Sega Forever, Ages, and of course, the new console compo.
