Lol why is j prince doing all of the pr again? Getting someone else to clean up your mess makes you look weak as hell.
Apparently he has a book coming out this month.

I think J Prince is being opportunistic, knowing Drake can't really stop him at this point. Either way, worked out for J Prince.

Definitely a bitch move on Drake's part. I don't see how anyone would be able to take him seriously as a rapper after this.

Say what you want but this will always haunt drake the biggest rapper in the world beaten to the point of humiliation that others had to stop the fight for him
he came in thinking he was a god and didn't realize pusha was a nonbeliever

Let's be real honest here... if you don't respect him as a rapper, you probably didn't before.

And if you respected him before, you probably still will... because he still came with bars on Duppy.

He lost a beef on being exposed

The bad part is that this is his album month sure he is gonna hit that 1m easy he knows that, but his pride is fucked, and people who like hip hop won't really put him with the greats anymore. I mean it's cool if Chris Brown can still get number ones and do well, then Drake for sure can, but that tough guy thing is kinda eehhhhhh I kinda don't wanna hear it from him anymore. Just give me more take care and gods plan type of joints and I'm good.

WOAT part about this beef is Pusha saying he hates What Happened To That Boy and can't listen to it now.

Was like when I found out Kanye hates Gold Digger. Although I was never the biggest fan of it to begin with, just weird seeing artists distance themselves from some of their most successful hits because they no longer (or never were) consistent with how they view themselves as artists or their art.

It's literally impossible to end Kanyes career with a diss track . Dude doesn't get down like that. Everyone and their mother knows he doesn't write his own shit mostly. It's not a ja rule situation for either.

Unless we gonna have a ghost writer beef, Quentin Vs Rhymefest.

Scorpion will sell like crazy, but does he have to go back and redo lines after being exposed like this? I'm sure he does, especially if he's just going to choose to ignore this "circus"

Scorpion was already locked, and I doubt this beef will move the needle on the scale as far as sales at all. Drake has cultivated a following that likely won't care about this much.

But his next shit... whew. Pusha straight-up got into his psyche. It's almost unfair. Drake might have to double down on ghostwriters because his soul just got snatched. You can't just shrug that shit off. A 90s rapper just deconstructed him surgically. That is some shit Drake has never dealt with, and quite honestly I don't think he has what it takes to deal with that, especially as a sensitive rapper who tried to get tough just to feel himself.

Dude's been exposed, and he has only himself to blame.

I don't necessarily care for either of these 2 artists but I'm enjoying how people in here think these rap battles end careers and stuff. It's really something reading the replies here, overblowing the back and forth diss tracks as if they were anything but publicity stunts. Reliving past nostalgia.

Nobody but nerds care for this shit. Here is a prediction, Drake will continue to sell millions of records and nobody will bat an eye that he didn't respond, or "didn't dare to".

People forget Ja Rule was one of if not the biggest Hip-Hop artist for about 2-3 years. He had number one singles singing and creating "thugs need love too" joints then got called out by a street nigga and got his shit ended.

At least Ja Rule fought back with Loose Change and Clap Back. Drake can't even do that.

The craziest part about this beef is that we found out Dennis Graham aint even Drake real daddy. J Prince is.

Facts ppl forget that Jlo joint was fire, Ja was ahead but 50 came along.
He was pushing out hits with Ashanti too. the problem with ja rule was that 50 cent was so well connected, industry ties was severed for murder inc. like if you choose ja rule you lose out on Eminem, Dre, 50 cent and the entire g unit and all the dudes he signed, than murder inc got caught up in federal cases for laundering money and he could never bounce back.

Because ja rule was just caught up in BS that he couldn't recover, because even after the beef he released an album that had some hits, wonderful and New York we're big songs back in the day. Like it's murder Incs fuckery that ruined ja rule, 50 cent situation didnt help but federal charges coming right at the time your record deal is up and than going to prison will fuck your career up.

I was wrong. Ashamed of my words and deeds.

I am no longer a Drake stan

It's an understandable misstep. Drake has never been confronted with this level of disrespect until now. He had a pretty easy go, and punched down (very well.) He just fucked up and fucked with a vet from an era where beef was real af.

Can't blame him, really. He is so disconnected from that era. Dude legit was unprepared. He was all about bars, and Pusha was about content. Content always wins in real beef.

Duppy Freestyle was really nice, though. Loved Drake's flow there, especially next-day. Pretty good diss.

Pusha just buried him after that with a lazy 90s flow and great daggers. Goddamn.

Not always.. remember off the back of the Ja beef, 50 fucked around and put a line in a track taking a shot at Jada and He and G-Unit ended up getting massacred (no pun intended) by The Lox.

I know drake will sale a lot but I'm very curious if this well somewhat affect his sales though in a slight way
Nope not even a little bit. And I don't even fuck with him.

Ah, wtf I didn't know about this j prince/drake non-sense. There is ZERO chance that Drake has a tape that 'could end pusha career'. Just when I thought I couldn't clown drake more. Supposedly he's got a tape so flames that he can't release it???

RIGHT.... Sure little buddy.

I refuse to believe that in 2018, a copy of/lyrics to one of the most anticipated hip hop songs ever, wouldn't somehow leak.

Drizzy needs to take the L and get in that Take Care headspace with 40 again and deliver another classic. give me an album of that atmospheric, tepia toned production and introspective Drake. like an album of Cameras or Over My Dead Body or Crew Love or Shot For Me. even that hazy If You're Reading this trap sound would do

but we'll probably just get 1 or 2 stellar songs surrounded by his newfound obsession with bland dancehall trap infusions full of IG and VSCO caption-tier lyricism
