I really don't know how GOOD can drop anything less than an impeccable 20 minutes. I feel like Illmatic has zero skips at 39 min. Both of these have at least 3-4 skips for me.

I can't just listen to one song off illmatic, hearing one just makes me want to listen to the entire album.
It's the perfect pure Hip-Hop album.
My top three are Arcade Fire - Funeral, Kanye - MBDTF and Nas - illmatic.
Funeral is funeral. MBDTF kind of transcends Hip-Hop, so illmatic reigns supreme.
Listening to piñata and totally forgot about the Danny Brown feature.

the treatment of his vocals really makes it stand out too. I have no idea why they made them sound so weird but they sound so out of place lol
i saw some people on reddit saying that the lines "i thought about killing you" and "i think about killing myself, and i love myself way more than i love you" are beautiful and poetic and shit, when that sounds like something a teen would come up with during their edgy emo phase.

Love it as well. Toumani Diabates son(Sidiki Diabaté)does amazing work in that genre(And the Korra as well). The young man shows he can hang with the legend that is his father. His father is no joke. My favorite artist out of everything I listen. Check his pops music out.

- justin bieber's JOURNALS album is a really underrated R&B album. like it's top 15 in that genre of the decade honestly.
