She had the audacity to appear in an MSNBC special tonight called "Everyday Racism in America" I kid you not. I'm watching it right now. It triggered Roseanne something awful.

Half of the episode was them interacting. They couldn't pay their internet bill and didn't find out it was cut off until like 2AM when Mary was supposed to Skype her deployed mother. Roseanne and Jackie went over and asked the family for help. The family pitied them and did help. The next day the wife didn't have enough on her EBT card, so Roseanne covered her grocery bill and berated the grocery clerk for racist remarks. The husband paid Roseanne back in cash at 2AM that night.

It sucks that the cast & crew are now out of work. Yes, it may only be temporary, but there's no guarantee they'll work on something as high profile right away.
It also sucks that we lost a popular show that was relatively progressive. In that sense, it's the general public that loses out as well.
While it was ultimately ABC that cancelled 'Roseanne', I wonder how much Sara Gilbert and CBS played a role. Sara was the show's executive producer and played the show's, IMO, second most important character. However, she's also a co-host on CBS's The Talk.
CBS isn't going to allow Roseanne's nonsense to affect their show. Sara knows this & would probably leave the sitcom before abandoning her talk show. Without Sara, however, ABC would almost have no choice but to cancel 'Roseanne'. It just wouldn't be worth it to try fix things if she left.
Not that I'm going to run off and watch it but I'm not sure about Hulu pulling Roseanne off their service. Can't they just leave it up to the viewers if we want to watch it or not. I get why the pulled it so quick, but I'm not sure I agree with it. Eh, it's not that big of a deal but it was just a thought.

It will cost you a pretty penny but you can buy them on Amazon digital for $20 a season. Maybe they'll do a fire sale down the road especially if they pull the free prime episodes.
