Role players can be important you guys. They are still role players.

Is he a star? Are they doomed without him? No.

Royce O'Neale plays a similar role for my Jazz. He's a role player, doesn't mean it wouldn't suck to lose him (we don't have four all stars to pick up the slack though.)

Ah pulling out the classic "if you actually watch my team you'd know x, y, z" to try and discredit the truth.

The Warriors have been on national TV more than any other team over the past 4 years, we have all seen them play plenty. Using statistics isn't "lazy" you're just mad for some reason that he's a role player. You're acting like it's some insulting term and it's very bizarre. He's an important cog but not a star at this point in his career.

He makes so much money because there was a cap explosion - same reason Evan Turner makes 17 mil a year; I shouldn't have to explain that to you. Also he actually took less money to stay in the Bay Area as a complimentary piece. He is the definition of a role player.

Why is it that no one will give the Rockets any credit? I'm tired of "they just played poorly", "they were bored", "Curry was injured" and the assorted other excuses. You don't see me using any excuses even though we were down a Hall of Famer and still came within just making our free throws to win. Both teams were worn the fuck out. And the were doing it to each other. The difference is that the Warriors had more talent so they could afford to put worthless shit like Swaggy P on the court. The Rockets couldn't take their talent off the court and could have certainly used the services of a certain player. The Warriors out lasted them. The End. Taking a team to 7 games is no fluke.

Also, Iggy is a role player and so is Green.

The Rockets dominated the boards in part because Draymond had no help under the rim, take Draymond out of the game and the Rockets further dominate and probably are in the Finals.

The Warriors literally lost a Finals in part because of Draymond not being on the court lol but Iggy's more valuable because he can stop LeBron from scoring 29 instead of 32. C'mon son.

1) I cant stand curry act like a saint pre and post game and yet in the middle of the game he dives, crys, whines, taunts, and does his fucking stupid dances no 1 gives a fuck about expect for their " fans"
2) The fact green still has not been ejected is beyond me. the fact that Ker actively supports that big mouthed donkey after he goes off the range is disgusting and should be investigated.
3) Ker sitting on the bench like a bum swigging moonshine, pretending to know wtf hes doing ( taking off durrant when he got hot, and curry too) and the generic ABC pep talks and is starting to get testy with the media and is starting to show his true colors.
4) There life long "fans", if you asked them were GSW was located they would say whats a gsw.. Enough said


And fuck Adam Silver and the reff association the fact we had people on here in the match form say they should be investigated tells you enough of the fuckery that was going on last night.

I sense no inaccuracies with his statement though, lol. Ray Allen is already surpassed by Steph Curry, and the only person that can take that crown away from Curry as the greatest shooter of all time would be Klay Thompson with his current trajectory.

Maybe we can see how Devin Booker and Lauri develop as well.

I just find that too broad as there are different levels for people who aren't All Star tier. Kellerman might have the right description when he said there are Role Players Plus in that they're not normal role players but not All Stars either. He was using that to describe Capela and Gordon on the Rockets.

Wow that's crazy the rockets built a team better than the warriors and yeah CP got injured and they fell apart but what a series. I can't wait for the finals.

Yeah, as great as Allen was, Curry and Thompson are easily on track to finish #1, and #2 all time. It's not fair lol.

I'm so disappointed that it's CLE vs. GSW again. I was really hoping HOU could pull it off, but not having CP3 certainly hurt them. Boston going to the finals would've been nice, but LBJ literally willed his team past the Celtics.

My thoughts on these weird hot takes:

Iggy is definitely a role-player; he's a very good role player, but his numbers/usage rate are down. He has obviously turned it up in the postseason. If you remember, most people had written him off after his regular season performance. He is, however, not better than either Klay or Green.
