What is the TOD setting for this race I've done all my practice at dawn setting but we practiced on one of the daytime settings yesterday?
No worries bud it wasn't intentional. From my POV you were warping all over the place so could never tell exactly where you wereFifa, not sure what happened there down the hill. I saw you gradually steer into me until we got hooked or something.
I had no more space on the right, I was expecting you to stay on the inside tbh!
Apologies if I was in the wrong
I qualified 2nd just behind CLR_CMOS but had a better start probably due to a higher TC setting.
Sprint Series Round 1 Results:
In the event that multiple drivers are tied on points the following rules apply:
- Points earned from race results take priority over fastest lap points (e.g. OldGit_Gamer & DHC-Shannow )
- If all points are amassed via race results then the driver with the highest placed result will place higher (e.g. CLR_CMOS & RounD )
- If the two results are identical then the drivers will be placed in alphabetical order until rules 1 and/or 2 can be applied through future results (e.g. cooldawn & Fifanutz )
I'll update the OP with these along with all the other series information shortly.

WTF at your fastest lap in race 2 DHC-Shannow ! I didn't think 1:21's were possible but apparently so...
Well done to OldGit_Gamer and JamboGT ! Also to DHC-Shannow for being ridiculously quick. Dat 21.9 :-O
Ugh, race(s) to forget for me. JamboGT , sorry for ruining your race. I was focusing so much on DHC-Shannow that I didn't notice you were on my inside :-( Paid the price for it, though (was dead last after the first lap)... Made it to 6th in the end. Not even going to talk about the second race >:-(
Had the pace to be at least on podium in both races, but completely screwed up both of them. Truly an embarrassing performance from me...
I don't use TC at all, but I might have to just for the starts. The wheel spin is very hard to control.
So, I need to start paying more attention to things, didn't realise no setups were allowed so any practice I had done was moot. In all honesty the Honda was terrible over kerbs so the last half of the lap was a bit of a nightmare, however the car was still pretty good in the fast corners which ended u saving me in race two....
Qualifying was nice and close think 4 tenths or so covered the top 4 which is always entertaining.
Race 1
Made a good start and then you can see what happened haha, Got a run on the inside then I should have lifted but didn't so CLR and I ended up at the back. Had a fun race following him through the pack until I made a mistake again and he left me behind. Fought through to 7th by the end.
Race 2
I got a good start from 8th on the grid and managed to get to the lead by the end of lap 1, from there it was relatively uneventful until I made a mistake through the penultimate corner and picked up a penalty. I managed to lose a bit of it which lost me a bit of my lead but the rest I was able to get rid of over the next few laps.
The last 8 laps was then just trying my best to old the lead lol, DHC was crazy fast compared to me but I was quick on corner entry on the sweepers so was able to retake the lead a few times at those corners. The second half of the lap was all about getting a decent exit off the corners as DHC was all over me. Very fun race and was delighted to be able to take the Honda to a win.
Tried a couple of laps, this track is particularly unforgiving. There's a concrete tire wall before the hairpin, on the outside on the left; if you go wide and brush against it you immediately get 180°'d on the spot. If you hit it head-on, then you just get stuck against it.
Watching the replay of my second race, what a disaster. Looking at the moves everyone else was making in the first couple of laps, I was far too nice.
At least I know for next time what to expect in the second race. Maybe I need to treat it how I would a regular sport mode race ;)
Hey guys! Looking to jump into GT, but have a question about the post-release content. Is the game worth buying at this point if I also want a bit of a single player experience? Heard the game was really lacking in that respect. Thanks!
Next weeks event information:
The stock 911 GT3 RS is N500. To get it to N400 use the followings section in the tuning menu to nerf the power until it becomes an N400 car:
Once done you will then be able to turn on the N400 BOP for the car.
If you want to do your testing for the race in an online lobby make sure you have nerfed the car to N400 before entering the lobby. If not you will be unable to select the car.
Sorry to be an idiot, but what would be the HP I should be hitting? I raised the levels to 3 for each to do some time trial laps but wasn't sure it's right...is 494 the correct HP?
Yeah I'd suggest taking note of those settings and adjusting the car manually so there is no confusion when taking the car into lobbies or if you forget to put BOP onThe key part is to reduce it wo it shows N400 before going into time trial. Then when in time trial go into settings and turn BOP on. It will then set the weight and power accurately.

Yeah I can't see more power being beneficial lol. I had a lead foot after spending so much time in the GR2s couldn't get 2 consecutive clean laps out. I'm not ashamed to say I've got my 1:36 down to 1:33 laps are so inconsistent and I'm guessing I'm aiming for about 1:31 by sundayWhoops! I hadn't turned BoP on when I did my runs, still having more power probably doesn't help that much with this car!
Just put a few laps in to practice for Sunday's race and a 1:28.700 was my best lap:
I did a few more laps after (I did 8 in total) my times were all over the place as I pushed harder and harder. My optimal was a 1:28.352.
You kind of need to play with the car as much as possible to extract extra time from it, so be on the edge of drifting and keeping it in a straight line. Prime example is the very last corner where you kind of have to flick the car left before turning right to be bale to get on the power as early as possible for the main straight.
I'm sure some of you will be able to manage 1:27's :)

So...with Le Mans coming...should we add a finale event to the season?
Sure there must be a night version of that track too!
Yeah, can't apply BoP in the garage, only in the pre-race screen. Move slider to 90% then apply BoP.No objections from me.
I'm confused about the Porsche. I'm in the garage but I'm unable to select BoP 'ON'. To get to N400 I moved Power to 90% and it shifted to N400 with 441BHP. Is that right?
Ah right...so I can't use BoP outside of race conditions.I'm okay with Le Mans instead of Nurb
Yeah, can't apply BoP in the garage, only in the pre-race screen. Move slider to 90% then apply BoP.
If you spend mileage points I think you can simply move the sliders to follow the BoP settings (forgot what they were) and save the tuning sheet so you don't have to mess with it every time.
Adjust sliders till they match the BOP Settings and you are doneAh right...so I can't use BoP outside of race conditions.
Basically, do I need to set-up a custom One Make race and make the changes in that event?
