I think it was a situation where it had progressed to the point where he wasn't eligible for the type of treatment he wanted and seemed to transition into end of life care.
Damn shame. Wasn't his biggest fan, but he's been hugely important to the biz and responsible for the success of many properties (as mentioned, Warframe would definitely not be where it is today without him, for example). For that, he has my utmost respect.

Makes you just that more grateful that you're alive and well and that not every problem in your life is that important. Was contemplating on getting my testicles checked for a week, but will definitely do it now after reading this. Major wake up call that it can just turn to shit any moment.

Totalbiscuit was the person who got me to play Warframe too. I played it a lot on PC and Xbox One.
They should make some like... special skin celebrating TB's influence in the game.

He wasn't perfect but at the same time he was great. I used to watch his stuff all the time before I kinda swore off youtube.
