I thought Maul was alive because this was during episode 1. Do I have my timelines messed up
This is set at most 10 years before A New Hope, since Han in A New Hope is 29 years old and they have said that Han during this movie is somewhere between 18 and 24 years old.I thought Maul was alive because this was during episode 1. Do I have my timelines messed up
Apparently the chronology is like:I thought Maul was alive because this was during episode 1. Do I have my timelines messed up
Am I crazy, or was the scene where the "lobby" of the millennium falcon is on fire a callback to remedial chaos theory's famous "Troy comes back with the pizza" scene? Even down to someone flailing about a big piece of cloth to put out the fire.
Apparently the chronology is like:
- Episode I
- Episode II
- Clone Wars
- Episode III
- Solo
- Rebels
- Rogue One
- Episode IV
etc.
Besides, Han Solo shouldn't even be born yet during Episode I, right? I mean, Obi-Wan looks so young there.
Not true. Han is 10 years older than Luke and Leia. Luke and Leia were born at the end of Revenge of the Sith, which means that Han Solo was born somewhere between Phantom Menace and Clone Wars.

Anyone else pleasantly surprised by Emilia Clarke in this? She's usually horrible but they cast her well here.
The four-armed guy, L3 and Beckett. It was just missing Clarke, but I guess they laid out the grounds for a sequel.
They burried four armed guy, they even made the effort to show how shaken Han was by his death with a seconds lasting close up.
Lando tried to rescue L3, even let Han fly the Falcon to be able to stay with her, he was devestated when L3 shut down heavily feeding into the ambiguity in their android-human relationship.
Beckett died in Han's arms after everything that went down between them.
I don't see where you're coming from with this. Not that I have to but yeah, it's not like they didn't give grieve enough space imho.
My bad, I meant us viewers. They tried to drama up some of those deaths, but the characters were too minor for me to give a shit :b Harrelson was a bigger character, but so one dimensional that I was glad he's dead and not appearing in any of the sequels.
So I don't really engage in other fandoms, but are they as filled with stupid cunts? Looking up L3 on YouTube gets you dozens of man babies crying about an "SJW droid"
Black Sun is one of the other Syndicates. So I've been wondering, is Dryden Vos any relation to Quinlan Vos? And does Crimson Dawn have anything to do with Black Sun?

Same. I started laughing at that shot.I don't know if it's a reference (probably not), but I had the exact same thought.
As a fan of Phantom Menace who finds Rebels unwatchable, I found Maul's voice very, very jarring.
This....sure is something.Han was born the same year as Episode I.
Maul survived being cut in half, ended up in a garbage chute staying alive because of the dark side through his anger, got dumped on a trash world where he went crazy for 10 years, and was found by his brother Savage during the Clone Wars who nursed him back to health. They built a criminal empire called the Shadow Collective and conquered Mandalore but Palpatine caught wind of them, killed Savage, and captured Maul. He used Maul to lure out Maul's mother, the witch Mother Talzin who he viewed as a threat, then killed her. Maul escaped back to Mandalore where he was defeated by Ahsoka Gano but once again escaped and apparently rebuilt his criminal syndicate between then and the Rebels TV series.
Fucking Ahsoka and Aphra are going to make their way into the movies now, eh?
His performance in both shows is amazing, but I guess it's because you're not used to him.
KENOOOOOOOOOBIAAAAAAAGGGG
Fucking Ahsoka and Aphra are going to make their way into the movies now, eh?
I generally wait at least half a year before updating my favourite Star Wars movie list, but I just wanted to write down my general feelings right now and see how/if my opinions have changed by next year. My Star Wars movies ranked from first to last:
The Last Jedi
Empire Strikes Back
The Force Awakens
Return of the Jedi
Revenge of the Sith
Solo
Rogue One
A New Hope
The Phantom Menace
The Clone Wars
When he stood up he had clanky robo legs.Yep, I guess so - this should play between the Clone Wars and the Rebels series?
Maul looked so bad
They ruined one of the few good thing about Episode 1
One of the funniest bits of the film by far.I full on spat my drink out at the Gonk droid stamping on top of the computer console after the droid uprising. Fucking hilarious.
I'm talking more in a broader sense, not only his appearance. Everything about that scene was awfulThis is 30 years after Episode I. He's been through some shit.
