I think the guy is wrong on their talent but completely right regarding the development. UTk has had several dlinemen and DBs go pro to some success. As well they completely wasted Hurd/Dobbs/Kamara. I mean Bootch was gifted Kamara when he didn't pan out at Bama, and he couldn't figure out how to properly utilize him. Bootch straight lied to Hurd so whatever.

But they had talent he just didn't understand or know how to get the potential out of his players. UTk always put a little fear in me as a Bama fan until last year bc I always felt that if they could mentally put it together they could of beat Bama. Pruitt has a lot of work to do now though.

He's not wrong so I was just thinking of who could possibly say that (the dig at Scar seemed unnecessary though). This year probably won't be good for them, but considering that they're coming off their worst year ever it's not like there's a high bar to clear when it comes to getting better.

Mullen is famous in Gainesville for the Tebow/Harvin spinner, so I'm really not expecting the universe when it comes to play calling. He tended to stick with what worked and sometimes drove it into the ground.

I assume his benefit is more in identifying talent and finding good QB's.

One of the tweets touches on a point that I think could be important, his OL blocking schemes tend to be susceptible to delayed blitzes. That definitely bore out last year.

And yeah, he tends to go with what's working, which I'm a big believer in. The question will be if he can adjust when things aren't going well. At Mississippi State, he only had so much talent to work with. At UF, he'll have little more this year but it's nothing like what he had with Meyer.

Given that FE ERA and CFB Era seem to be one overlapping circle, here's a question. What FE character is your program?

I'll start- NC State is Nolan from Radiant Dawn. Dependable- you'll need him to get through Part 1 and bits of 3. However, he isn't much use beyond that and you certainly won't take him to Endgame. I've never had a bad Nolan but I've certainly never had a great one.
