And I thought the streak might end with the next round of games. Yet here again, Detroit, Dreams and Days Gone (3 D's) seem to be previewing very well and Insomiac, ND, and Kojima have great track records which builds confidence in their upcoming titles. Kinda weird some of the skepticism I see with Days Gone (same happened with Horizon) since the loop is like a mix of twin-stick shooter gameplay and survival elements. The new footage just screams Resogun in a reality setting to me, and again, I expect at worse a fun game here, story will be hard to top some recent stuff from WWS. Not all of these will be God of War level critical darlings, but wow, Sony is turning into a mini-Nintendo with this level of sustained quality from first party. Heck even GT is a much better game than at launch, and Dreams (usual for a MM game) has potentially no ceiling in how innovative and creative it can be. Can Sony can keep this level of quality into next gen?
