According to Gamelab's founder's Twitter.

wait... just insults?
No death threats or anything?
Following some women in gamedev made this seems pretty mild =P
since that is the rhetoric he likes to use, I think it's fair to apply to his actions as well.Harassment if he'd been popular around here, but because he's a controversial figure, he's a snowflake who needs to man up?
"serious insults" =/= "death threats".
He replied to the tweet I quoted above, so it's kinda fair to assume he's talking about this.Hate to presume, but something might be lost in translation/ESL here, and 'serious insults' might actually mean threats.
Guy has received death threats in the past, really funny huh? People cheering for harassment here, shades of NeoGAF.

He's not on my side?Guy has received death threats in the past, really funny huh? People cheering for harassment here, shades of NeoGAF.
He was acussed of anti-Semitism when he and his couple have family that died in the camps, fyi.
Better than be happy for online harassment no?
On one hand good, fuck him
On the other hand, insulting him to the point of cancelling was definitely not the right way to do it, politely telling Gamelab of this views would have been better

It's a ridiculous double standard for users here to pick and choose when harassment is acceptable.
Are you surprised?Guy has received death threats in the past, really funny huh? People cheering for harassment here, shades of NeoGAF.
You're just not supposed to condone harrassment at all.
Would Gamelab have even cared? Not everyone in the industry is a Polygon. On one hand good, fuck him

It's hypocritical yeah but so are the people here who are condoning this behaviour.I mean, if you support Gamergate, you support harassment -- that was the whole campaign ... then for him to complain about harassment, I mean, it's kind of hypocritical. I don't feel a need to stand up to protect someone from their own karma. He helped foster the environment he's now living in.
he voluntarily posts on twitter. and his posts are controversial to say the least. do you expect people to NOT call him out? he does the same thing with his 30+k followers-
"Daniel Vávra, director of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, a gentleman who's openly racist, sexist and a GamerGate apologist, has been invited to @gamelab for a reason I can't understand"So is cyber bullying or bullying in general one of those things that's only acceptable when it applies to somebody you don't like/agree with?
No, they called him a nazi while having jewish heritage.
You know, for being harassed.
Theres a difference between someone you don't like and a previously active gamergatorNo. But enabling harassment is not the right way to act. Specially not when someone uses the "oh look at this snowflake, man up", which was used so many times to deflect and silence legit instances of abuse before. I mean for fucks sake, the forum complains about toxic masculinity almost daily and when someone you don't like feels insulted about something the first thing you can think of replying is "man up"? Seriously?
You're implying that's the only tweet that made him not want to go"Daniel Vávra, director of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, a gentleman who's openly racist, sexist and a GamerGate apologist, has been invited to @gamelab for a reason I can't understand"
HOW IS THAT HARASSMENT? She stated a series of facts. He's the director of that game, he's openly racist and sexist and supports harassment, he was invited to Gamelab, and she can't understand it. So much for freedom of speech that women can't state their opinion on public figures.
So is harassment one of those things that's only acceptable when it applies to somebody you don't like/agree with?
how so? it's a rhetoric he supports (I don't) applied to him. issa joke my dude. There is so much irony that you are saying this considering your posts in this thread.

lol @ the guys saying "but he's being harrassed"
the only thing we know so far is that he got called a Nazi and is now pissed.
when you tweet out hyper-controversial things, you can't expect to not get flack for it.
I do not agree with calling him a Nazi because I don't think he is a literal (neo-)Nazi but a racist and potential fascist? sure thing.
