This one really hurts if true.

Eta- dude isn't sure he was drugged, which is why he all but describes being drugged, but leaves himself an out by not saying it specifically.

The victim passed out after two drinks and woke up to his pants being removed. From that description, thats assault.

They did try to reach him for comment, but his rep said him and his husband were traveling and weren't able to reach him. My guess is that he'll apologize, say he barely remembers anyway and tomorrow we'll be talking about some other guy being accused.

Almost every media outlet right now is sending their reporters to look into all rumors ever and see what they find.

In this instance, I don't know if the guy reached out to The Hollywood Reporter or the magazine was out looking for something.

I wish they had mandatory classes on high school/college that ironed into people what is wrong and should never be done.

Too many people don't understand sexual assault/harassment/rape.

Let's get the main points out of the way first.

1) If you're both drunk or one of either is drunk, nobody can consent to sexual acts.
2) Consent can be revoked at any time. Regardless if you're in the act or not, if one party doesn't want to continue, you DO NOT continue.
3) Do not EVER touch a person inappropriately if they are not concious.

It's really not that difficult to not sexually assault somebody if you use common sense.

"Roofied" or not (and it's at the very least highly suspect given how quickly he said it hit him), he was unconscious and Takei was taking his clothes off and groping him. That's assault.

Article says that Takei's publicist/spokesperson said he was overseas and not available to comment. So, they did reach out.

Anyway, this is very disturbing, especially since the victim seems to suggest he was roofied. If that's accurate, expect more people to come forward with similar stories. Getting Cosby vibes here...

That's true. But there have never been the level of rumors surrounding Takei like there were for Cosby. This is the first time I've ever heard something like this against him anyway.

Well, at least he stopped when the guy verbally said no.

But his account makes it seem like it he was possibly roofied or something. That's horrible if true. I'd like to at least read or hear a response from George Takei.

He championed LGBTQ issues and women's rights and spent his own fortune in the efforts. People who do that don't do shit like this. This smells like opportunistic retaliation by rumor-mongering conservatives.

thats a load of horseshit, there are people who are "nice guys" who outwardly do the right thing but then you find out they are into some bad shit behind closed doors.
