More Halo is coming. There's no doubting that and E3 is just a few weeks away
Literally just woke up open this thread read your comment and almost died thank for the laughs.
It's in collaboration with 343, it's not like the team there is shelving Xbox projects to do a side arcade game.
Looks cool! The gf has never been to D&B so we planned on going, this just makes that happen sooner rather than later.
Or accompanied by someone who is.
Barcades are big here, but they typically have old hand me down games. For new stuff, Dave & Busters is your best bet. At least in the Midwest (or Chuck E. Cheese depending on the kind of game)
Hey Frankie, is anywhere in the UK going to have cabinets of this? I live in the North (not quite as North as were you're from though) and I'm a little worried I'll never get to play this. I love the idea of being an ODST during the fight on Installation 04 and even an on-rails experience is tantalising to me because HALO!
I was just in a Dave & Busters for the first time in years and was surprised to see a Tomb Raider Arcade setup like this for the new Tomb Raider games. I guess it's a thing to bring those franchises over in some form or another now. This looks pretty cool to be honest though it's a shame you don't get to hold actual Assault Rifles.
Yep. No dates or location to discuss yet but it will be worldwide. Eventually in the places you see this kind of thing. And I got to work with Eugene Jarvis so I can die happy now.

Lol true. That said, there's no negativity (besides those that want Halo Xbox), this is quite awesome. We need an American arcade revolution with games that we would want to play.
Sigh. I keep hoping for Halo to be golden again, but that hope is pretty much all but extinguished at this point.
I mean Eugene Jarvis is a legend so that is awesome. Such an awesome mix of talents too, mixing his experience with the Halo universe sounds like a dream come true. Looking forward to getting hands on with this sometime then and can't wait to see what you're else you're cooking up in the Halo Universe.

There's still an arcade and bowling alley in the Trafford Centre in Manchester. Keep us informed of locations please.
Or port it to home systems and release a lightgun that works on modern TVs.
Edit: Now that I've watched the trailer it doesn't need an actual lightgun. The turrets are just giant analogue sticks with fixed positions. That should be easy to translate to a controller. The 2 screen set up isn't as easy but not impossible.

This could have been a great idea for a FPS spinoff for Xbox. It's still cool, but fuck me man. Halo has infinite potential for console games and they just dont follow through.

I'm wondering if Hollywood Bowl might get it. Each one of their locations I've been to have fairly large arcades (15ish machines) and they're all over the country.
Look's awesome. A new Dave & Busters just opened up near me as well, so I look forward to checking this out.

I hope my arcade/bar in my city gets this ASAP. Looks pretty fun. Still...This isn't the ODST involved halo game I had in mind MS lol.
Much like you can bite off more than you can chew. There's plenty of examples of that, unfortunately.
Really looking forward to it, I feel like Microsoft is going to have a great show and they got a good venue. Almost bit the bullet and got tickets a couple months ago, but ultimately decided to kick back and watch it all on 4K on my One X. :)
Actually, now that I think about it, I saw a Raw Thrills' Cruis'n Blast cabinet set in my theater last night. Guess there's actually a solid chance we'll get Halo here too.
Awesome! Although, Dave and Busters... haven't been there in a long time. Certainly a welcome addition to an arcade line-up though.
Considering ME hasn't pushed the Kinect since '14, there's pretty much zero chance.

The negativity in this thread is hilarious. This developer makes these types of arcade games. All the would have done is approach 343 about using the Halo IP to make their next one. They've used other big IPs too people.

Arcade shooters don't normally look this good I'm from a graphical standpoint in my experience. I'm at Dave and Busters 3 times a year in the summer I'll be sure to check it out.

I thought it was generally accepted that anything by RawThrills was dogshit. What's their involvement in this?
They had to have had a few projects in the works that they scrapped later that could be redone.
