Yes, it's an issue which only affects a couple of games (Halo Wars 2 and State of Decay 2 specifically as far as I know). But just leave it be and it'll make progress eventually.

Store games are locked to the regional store timer from wherever you bought it, regardless of where you actually live or change region to.
I assume this might be true for Xbox as well as it is for the Microsoft store or at least seems to be.
You can change region for early unlock with game pass close to the official release date because the licensing is different between game pass and purchases I guess.

So i bought my game from Turkey, its now Friday over there so does that mean i can play now?. Do i need to change the xbox region back to Turkey again or leave it as my home region and start downloading?

You could play it now but need to stick with turkey until it's Friday in the other country you want to switch back.

It will be buyable and playable in 5 hours, even when you buy it tomorrow, it's not only for pre order. You can get the Ultimate Edition in retail stores too.

Iirc the first game originally did this but it led to too much frustration and challenge for the players. You'd go away to do stuff and people would just die and shit without you. So they nerfed it big time.
Live was down for awhile but it came up and now works.
Worked fine for us. We had 4 folks. Spawns are more noticeable in the main areas though than say 1 or 2.

2. Resources are finite so you'll need to move from map to map once you've exhausted everything. So yes, you initially pick 1 but will be able to switch between them later on.

Thanks! I like that its super dark at night, but I figured you would only go out if you absolutely needed too. I guess Ill understand once I start playing.
Just another level of planning the player needs to do. "What do I need to accomplish today before it gets dark?" I imagine it makes stealth/looting without interruption easier in theory but more also much more tense and frantic if you're surrounded with such limited sight distance. Sounds cool.
I don't know if you've played the XB1 version since the 6gb patch went live, but if you have, did you notice any significant improvements?

Just to confirm because it's 1:20 AM - I can use XBL credit for a country in which I do not have an Xbox Live account (mine is U.S.) to purchase a game on the Windows PC store that I can play in English on my PC?
It's probably too early for most people to be able to tell, but would it still be worth it to play the first game? So many reviews have been saying that the sequel is mostly like the first game but better, making me think that it may be redundant and that I should just wait for SoD2.
This windows app shit is infuriating. The app hangs at the start and when closing the game. Does anyone know how to change the text language of the game? Don't tell me I have to change the whole language of my OS just for that?
Uh guys, it's actually unlocked already on the Microsoft Store! At least, I was able to launch it and go through the options! Gonna try playing the game now!
Just answering my own question - the answer is yes. Cost about 20.00 for the standard edition when purchased using Turkish XBOX live credit (purchased at SEAGM) via the Turkish XBOX live store (when processing fees and the fact that you have to buy more credit then you actually need are factored in). Then you just log in to the Windows store using your Xbox live account and it's there in English. Note: You may need to change your region back to the U.S. from Turkey (I did).
